The story might not be very origional now but Megaman was one of the earliest games relesed on the Nes. And he's one of those characters that have stood the test of time and still have games being relesed *can't wait for Megaman Network Transmission*

I'm suprised you haven't heard of him. It's not as if there hasn't been many games staring him. 6 on the Nes, 6 on the Snes, several on the Playstation and PS2, 5 on the GBA (Although Megaman Zero 1 & 2 don't really star him) and 1 on the GCN. He's been around alot ;).

But it's wasn't the story that made me like Megaman so much or the character himself but the game play. It's not just 'Blast your way through the level and kill a boss and go onto the next level and do it again.' You had to choose which level and robot master (boss) to fight because every time you defeat a robot master you gain a weapon of it's trait (ie. Fire Man - Fire shot. Ice Man - Ice shot etc.) and each robot master is weak against a certain weapon (ie. Fire shot does a lot of damage to Ice Man). This makes it alot more interesting than most other games, plus, the levels leading up to the Robot masters are very challenging.

ive played megaman network transmission and it wasnt that good then again i dont really like megaman :lmao:

True, but the SSB series only has Nintendo-exclusive characters. Megaman has been on PS1, so he can't be included. Besides that, Megaman belongs to Capcom, not Nintendo. Only Nintendo-owned characters can be in it. It would be cool to have Megaman in SSB 3, but it won't happen..

yeah i guess but what if they made an all around fighting game so it has like over 100 dif chars from all the different video games
now that would be a cool game ;)
