Can sum1 pleez tell me a good way of raising pokemon.
I'm right at the beginning of the game and want to train my pokemon really quickly.
does any1 know how 2 do this?

THE ONLY WAY IS JUST KEEP RUNNING INTO POKEMON UNTIL YOU THINK THEY ARE STRONG ENOUGH. THERES NO WAY OTHER THAN THAT TO GET AROUND IT UNLESS YOU HAVE AN CODEBREAKER ETC.

best way is to battle pokemon stronger than it, and to have a stonger one to switch with, that way the weak one will get exp points..

yeah if you dont have a game shark or something, youll have to just run around in the grass or do the switch thing.

Well, the best way I can think of in the beginning of the game is just to fight as many pokemon in the grass as possible. Give your pokemon berries so they don't always faint. If you want to have the strongest pokemon, I recommend Cyndaquil, because Typhlosion will learn Flamethrower, a very powerful fire attack.
Once you get to Route thirty-four, you should get some pokemon in the daycare center and have their egg inherit moves they would not have learned otherwise. :rolledeye

Get a red scale from red Gyrados take it to New Bark town to mr. Pokemon and he will give you Exp. Share give that to your poke mon and use your strongest poke mon to fight!

ok for this u need the Surf HM and a pokemon to teach it to as well as the Fly HM, and a rare candy. PUT THE RARE CANDY INTO THE SIX SLOT OF YOUR INVENTORY

now talk to the man in Viridian City who reaches u how to catch a weedle, let him show u how by telling him your not in a hurry

after that fly to Fuisha city take the sea route to the seafoam islands (just go straight down when u are in Fushia city Poke Centre)
ok now when u get to the seafoam islands, surf up and down the part that is half land half water

after a few minutes u will fight a glitch called ~M~ u can flee or fight him (people say don't catch him, but I caught MISSINGNO and it turned into a level 160 RHydon in PKMN Blue)

now I told u about the rare Candy? check your inventory, you will have 99+ rare candies! level up your pokemon

this glitch can be repeated as frequently as u want, all u have to do is see the man in virdian city and repeat the steps


WORKS WITH ANY ITEM! as long as it 6th in your inventory!

Forsaken's trick works well. However, you have to be pretty far in the game to do it. I believe the first question was for near the beginning of the game correct?


The switch out trick works wonders. Put your weakest pokemon at the top of your party list. When you get into a battle, switch to one of your stronger ones to take out the enemy. Both of the pokemon you used will gain half experience for the fight. Later in the game, (Blue, Red, and Yellow) you get the EXP All item. Every one of your pokemon in your party (all 6) will get a portion of the experience. In Gold, Silver, and Crystal, you can get the Exp. Share Item. Attach it to a pokemon, and it doesn't even have to battle to get the experience. Once again, though, you don't get that till about the middle of the game.


I guess what I'm saying is, use the switch out method till you can get the EXP All or EXP Share items. Then you won't have any problems.

i think that Forsaken is right the best way is to do wat he said cuz it works ive even tried my self the game doesnt cut off like most games do when you do a glitch and then you use a item from a giltch but do wat Forsaken said and dont give up
