Author:cillianok
With extra credit to:
Necessary tools:Photoshop 7 (Not sure about lower versions)
Steps:6
Difficulty:Intermediate
Step 1
Create a new image, about 444x444, as i have done..:)
Press D to get default colours, the go Filter>Render>Clouds,
and create a new layer.
------
Step 2
Tricky: Select the New Layer
Get the gradient tool, Mode: Difference, and select the Reflected gradient,
and make 6-8 selections from the top left corner to the bottom right.

then make 2 in the opposite direction

------
Step 3
Now select a different colour ( i chose navy (0B1656)),
and select the radial gradient, mode still on difference, of course..
and make a large selection so the whole canvas is covered..

------
Step 4
Then Dupe the layer twice, select the top layer and do:
FILTER> PIXELATE> CRYSTALLIZE ; Cell size:10
make the layer invisible by clicking the eye on the left of the layer, in the layer window, and select layer dupe 2,
[[the one you just messed with being layer 3.]]
What i did next was FILTER> ARTISTIC> NEON GLOW, with the glow colour on blue (0000FF),
and the foreground and background on default with thses settings:
Glow Size; -1
Glow Brightness; 28
Glow Colour; (0000FF)
Then I also made that invisible and selected the First Dupe, (not one messed with yet).
For this I also did
FILTER> PIXELATE> CRYSTALLIZE ; Cell size:10
then went to FILTER> STYLIZE> FIND EDGES, all odd, eh?
I got this:

------
Step 5
I then made them all visible, set the Top Layer (Dupe 3)'s (Normal Crystalized)'s blending Mode to Overlay,
The Neon Glow one to Screen, and the find edges one to Exclusion, and came out with this:
And Got This:

Which i thought was cool ^_^
------
Step 6
Just messing around, i put the Find edges layer between the 2, and also got a cool effect ^_^
Got This

I would also recommend creating a new layer above all and make it plain red, or any colour,
then set the blendingmode to color to get a cool colour for it:)
Or Pressing CTRL+E, and merge all, then press CTRL+U to colour it, select Colorize,
Hue: 200
Saturation: 45
