chicken? i caught a stray one in my yard and only know how to feed them is there other ways to make it grow strong & healthy?

no alot of local guys raise chickens and roosters here in hawaii
i guess it got loose or something

have it tied with a rope or put it in a designated area with a fence..

i cant since there are alot of loose cats ......

oh yeah it got loose and my friend and i used a box,stick and string and bait to catch it(it went into my grandma's garden and the garden is 4 ft. tall since she puts it on boards.

my grandpa raises chickens but i cant talk to him.....................but when he chopped its head off it ran around for a while then fell then its legs still kicked around then it died and i wont kill my chicken!

i have chickens on ma fdarm. Give them space and feed them vegtable grain feed. And then. When it gets plump and juicy. You pick it up by its feet. Put it neck in between your legs and crack.

my friend said to hold it by its feet and spin it around then itll be stiff

and whats the difference with the fat white ones and the medium black ones

no theyre both hens but thier color/size is different and i want to know the difference.
and how can you be sure if it has fleas?
