Bloodwake codes

I can not get the cheats for bloodwake on the xbox to work, r they any good. Am I suppose to click both ****og sticks at the same time, do I click and hold them or let go and when the cheat says D,L,R, is it the left stick or the right or the D pad? Hope you can help

Thanks for your help, but I still can not get them to work, I think the problem is with the left and right thumb buttons. I'm pushing them in but it's not working. How can I rest the x-box without turning the console off?
