Uh, I've seen The Matrix, it was incredible. I have not seen 'Reloaded' (yes, I know, shame on me). Though, I will watch it before I go watch 'Revolutions.' :)

I have a question about reloaded: In the end he stops those machines from killing him and his shipmates, how?

Peppage
10-28-2003, 03:26 AM
Ah ha! Isn't that the greatest question? I didn't like that point of the movie at all! I think that he was able to use his Matrix "no spoon" stuff outside the Matrix now. I just hope it isn't a Matrix inside a Matrix or then I am going to be pissed. But he did it cause he talked to the architecht I think.

And now I belive that he will save Zion without having to walk through the other door. (He was able to do it so he could save them all....)

Maybe, since Neo became so unbelievably powerful inside the Matrix, he was able to do a small sort of human-generated EMP. Whatever the case, we'll know soon enough!:smokin:

bah Reloaded was so overhyped, I liked the first matrix so much better than the second, I mean I watched reloaded wat twice and said to myself yeah nothing spectacular hopefully revolutions will be better

Dark Realms
10-28-2003, 08:36 AM
thing that sucks about Revolutions, is that it raps the entire trilogy up! Its the last film there gonna do on the matrix. Anyone watch the animatrix...?...i download 400MB worth of videos from there site www.theanimatrix.com lol ;)

I say the only thing bad about the second matrix is i liked it a hole lot better when smith was an agent i mean after all he is my fav character.

Dark Realms
10-28-2003, 09:14 PM
yeah, smith does push the matrix further ;). He's like the wind up for Neo or Mr Anderson ;) lol

Asheron
10-28-2003, 09:34 PM
ok i got a question about reloaded: when neo is talking to the creator or the matrix there is a bunch of tv's an dwhen neo gives a reaction so do the tv's like they all start cussin n they all say bull**** n stuff what is that

Dark Realms
10-28-2003, 09:57 PM
Its the matrix thinking and reacting for him in the tvs.

Basicly, everything he thinks or does, the matrix knows. So if he goes : "Thats crazy!" - then the tvs will go: Bull****, no way, crazy!... basicly there showing different yypes of reactions to what the creator says to neo;)

<~Darkshadow~>
10-29-2003, 01:03 AM
This is kind of a dumb question but.....why do they travel through telephones from the real world to the matrix? Why not just a teleportation pad or something.....I mean it's interesting and all, but also kinda weird.

Half-White
10-29-2003, 01:07 AM
Everyone here who says the first Matrix was better: I'd have to agree with you. Afterall, The Matrix 1:

* had a better story
*was explained better
*the fightscenes had more of a point to them
*Carrie Anne-Moss is hotter in the 1st one:smokin:
*is interesting the entire time; every single thing had a clear point to it

<~Darkshadow~>
10-29-2003, 01:13 AM
ya I agree.....that whole *** scene was a little too much in the second one....I mean it didn't really tie into the story much. The second one had really good special effects and fights but lacked of a good storyline. Though I still found it interesting. The first one was really good....I saw it for the first time about a month before Reloaded came out.....I rented it and watched it over and over....It was such a good movie...I watched it about 3 times in one night....(I had a friend over and we didn't really have anything to do). But it really astounded me with what they did in that movie.....It was so interesting to watch the fights and the bullet-time effect or whatever it's called....I would have to say though, that I can't wait until Revolutions comes out!!! :smokin:

Yeah...definitely. It was just an excuse to show Neo and Trinity "do it." And they showed all those nasty plugs, too.

The Matrix- Shows Neo's life, and how he grows the character

Reloaded- Shows the war between Bots & humans. Shows second part of neos life.

Revolutions- The last straw to everything. Finishes off the trilogy, by showing everything!

lol, the *** scene was crap.... ive seen to dogs ahve betta *** than that...lol:P

Im not so sure, what if Trinity carried Neo's baby, it would turn out rather odd..

You guys remember the green room scene in the first matrix. Well if you watch just before that scene the camera goes through several tv screens into one.... It looks like the architecht area of the second movie. The way it goes through and all.... Just thought I would point that out.

I had a question but I can't seem to remember it.... I will try and post it later.

cHilli

Im pretty sure there are multiple matrix's (or matricies).:)

We'll see soon enough..

You're saying that even the real world isn't really the real world? I have a hard time believing that...

Peppage
10-30-2003, 12:17 AM
NO! I refuse to belive that their is more than one matrix.... I pray their isn't one. Truly I do. I can't belive it could come to that. I will be angry to say the least.

Psych
10-30-2003, 02:33 AM
i liked the first one better
1 it ended right....
2.carie-anne moss was hotter
3. better gun scenes
4. they looked cooler they all look like stiffs in this one
matrix reloaded pieced things together better

Dark Realms
10-30-2003, 08:04 AM
You see. How do they no there not in a matrix, when they think there in a real world ;)

Dark Realms
10-30-2003, 08:20 AM
Basicly. They may think there no longer in the matrix. BUT for all they no, they could be inside another matrix, when they think there in the real world. Get it now?

Peppage
10-30-2003, 03:41 PM
At least he had a good trip in the matrix... right? I mean how many people stay in just the first matrix? He got to goto the other matrix. (if their really is two, I still refuse to belive this though)

Lol. I dont understand why people cant understand the matrix films!? How can it be made any simpler?

Half-White
11-01-2003, 03:46 PM
Well, Reloaded is more difficult to follow than the first one...

Peppage
11-01-2003, 04:20 PM
the basis of the movies are easy to get, just the meaning behind the meaning is difficult to understand. The movies are really deap...

Half-White
11-02-2003, 12:20 AM
That's very true...

[N]eto
11-02-2003, 12:25 AM
Heh, and that's exactly why I love those movies. They have meaning, and it takes patience and high comprehension to understand them. Just like The Ring. :) However, I am sure that they are not inside another Matrix when they are in the "real world." Who wants a sad ending anyways? :P

Oddball
11-02-2003, 12:27 AM
I cant ever see the Matrix:cry: all the movies(at least in America) Have a 17 or older rating unless u bring and adult to see it with u if younger than 17. My parents u see follow these rating so they wont let me it. ever until im 17. by then all the movies will be old.

Sucks, and I thought my parents were over protective (they still are). Hmm, well, don't you have cousins or family that may take you? I mean, they only show a bit of nudity (oh, wow), and say some curse words... It really shouldn't be that big of a deal. They let you go to school and you experience much worse there.

M'eh, you see more nudity on TV. Besides it's nature, for god's sake.

Anywho, let's get back on topic. Four more days until it's out. I'm making plans with my friends, hopefully we'll go next weekend to see it.

11-02-2003, 01:45 AM
erm back to the topic of multiple 'matricies' lol, erm they would completely screw the movie up, I mean completely, and if Zion was in a matrix? oh man, not cool

<~Darkshadow~>
11-02-2003, 01:47 AM
Ok here's a question.....when they're in the matrix are they like in a dream or something? Bcuz it cuts back to the ship and their bodies are lying on those things with the plug in their necks or sumthing....and it looks like they're asleep. So are they dreaming while they're in the matrix?

[N]eto
11-02-2003, 02:11 AM
Not exactly dreaming, but unconscious. Simply, the minds leave their bodies and enter the cybernetic world (The Matrix) in form of a code. In other words, it's a virtual reality game.

My friend (Eric) and I were discussing about going on Wednesday as well. Gotta tell the whole group, but I've been sick, so I don't know if I'll be able to get in touch with them.

For some odd reason, I believe there will be another movie after this one. But then again, we don't know how this one might end.

Me 2, in an interview Keanu says that he is sad its the end of Neo's saga.

BTW i want to bring in 2 points,

How did Smith order the Sentinels in The Matrix, and
How did Smith make Neo have no mouth in The Matrix.

Its interesting we say nothing like this in Reloaded.:)

Yes, I was thinking about that. But they were in an unknown building, maybe where the Agents have more control over the people in the Matrix. Remember how they showed that someone was looking through the video room? They didn't actually tell us where they were at.

Also, the Agents are connected to the "network." Their job is to destroy those that may cause trouble for the machines. Consider them spies, so when they found out where the ship was located, they simply contacted "headquarters" and told them to deploy the Sentinels.

Not sure, but this is what I thought about when I asked myself those same questions. They seem reasonable, so I decided to leave it at that.

I hate how Revoloutions ends it is so screwed up. and that boring ten minute scene "Oh Trinity where are you I don't want you to die" "Oh but i have It's my purpose" "No I can't let you die. " BORING!!!!!! Plus it has gotten all twisted and confusing like in Reloaded with the old man "It has happened six times bla bla bla". Plus in Revoloutions it doesn't even end, he just goes off into distance. It sucks! And The Matrix has gotten to Philosophical and too deep and meaningful for my likings. I liked the first one because it was a genuine great action Flick. Sorry to say I'm one of the biggest Matrix fans and well Revoloutions is a disapointment. They shouldn't have made a sequal to 'The Matrix' It ruined the story IMO

Hey, yeah Neto! How can you want anyone to spoil the movie for you? You have to go see it yourself, it is better that way.

And their was an ending to the first one, he was going to release people and the humans would have eventually won. You could have made up the rest of the story in your head.... It would have worked.

[N]eto
11-08-2003, 05:26 AM
Not really. Well, I just saw Reloaded for the first time. Now I really got to see Revolutions. I have no know how Neo was able to stop those Sentinels near the end of the movie. Is he now connected with the machines?

Don't worry about spoiling the movie for me, it's already been spoiled. I just want this to be reassured.

I love The Matrix. I'd give it an A on a movie critic forum. Reloaded wasn't as good, but still very cool; I give it a B. As for Revolutions, I saw it yesterday, and don't see why Dark Realms says "it's a stunning film." The ending wasn't that great, and they never explained why Neo could destroy the sentinels like that. It also had tons of movie cliches in it. Still, some parts of it were kinda cool, so I give it a C.
