My Dog

My new dog is 4 months old. I play with him a lot . But when ever i leave him he starts barking real loud and it annoys the neighbors. Any suggestions on how to train him?

Show him how to be, play with him, and if he does good, give him a dog treat. :)

I had the same problem. Try giving him a toy outside or where ever u leave him or call home so your dog can here your voice on the answering machine

you should shout at him,put him in the microwave,then in the garbage,pich him up after 2 weeks and then trow him of a building,if he is trained good enough he should be able to fly,just try....

There are those collars thatare supposed to help with the barking. Don't know how good they are, though.

thats cruel...such a collar...every time the dog barks, it gives a shock..so barking will be associated with pain....:mad:

dont buy the collar 3 reasons one its cruel two if a burgular comes u want the dog to bark and your dog shouldnt be afraid to bark

Used to have a Samoid called benjamin (ben we prefered) ;) We never used to MAKE him where a collar, just let the dog home break itself..it works trust me ;). Just lay a few rules, and shout if he does summit bad.

My dog did that and we just walked outside during the day a lot to get him used to the idea that he was going to be left there. If he barked, we would scold him. If he didn't, we always came home with a treat.

put it this way, if he starts barking and u go running in he knows that when he barks he gets his own way, not to b cruel or nothing but when he barks u should tell him off, or pull his lead or something so that he knows wot he is ding wrong, and when he doesn't bark and u come back in, u give him a treat so that he knows he has done somethng wrong, this may also take time

i had to get used to my neighbours dog barking. in the end her husband had enough of it and devorced her! :lmao: lol... i like that!:tup:
