I've heard that the plasma grenades will be remote controlled, so that you can stick one somewhere near a corner, and when some1 comes around, you can blow him away.:ganja:

The pistol and assault rifle have been changed for Halo 2. The assault rifle will shoot slower but be more accurate, and have a scope. And the pistol...well I don't know about the pistol.

You will be able to hold two of certain guns at once:tup:

There will be a second Halo: the covenant either found another one or built it, I'm not sure.

The covenant will come to Earth in Halo 2.

I posted about this earlier this year. Halo 2 was set to release this year, but because of some errors, they had to delay its release. The new release date is early 2004, I believe.

To the Sub Machine Guns will arise. You may carry both at once, and be able to shoot simultaneously.

There will be born, another Covenant creature: Prophets. These, by book, are the leaders and are the highest official ranking.

About three or four new Warthogs will be awakened. One including will have no defenses, but will be very fast.

Battle Rifle : Upgraded from the Assault Rifle. Shoot slower, but mroe accurate and has a scope. I believe the tip spins as bullets shoot, though it may be jsut a misinterpretation.

Earth will be your level, and so will a moon base. On the moon base, will I believe that it is low gravity.

You can lower your gun to run almost twice as fast as usual.

A big one:
Environmental Interaction! You can shoot lights out. Break down doors, windows, columns! Enemies will do this also a.k.a. they are smarter.

Another "Halo" will be involved.

I don't know when its comming out but there is a new race of spartans (spartan III's???,) and Master Cheif has died. There is a level that has thousands of covent and you have about 100 men, 50 snipers in the hills, and 50 people with gattling guns or something. itll be sweet.

Master Chief never died. Glancing at the trailer proves this, for now he is in a different suit.

Maybe because of the suit, you thought of the new Spartans, but no. Master Chief is in the Mark IV, now, which I daresay is still not going to stand much up against the Covenant.

has any one seen the 9 minute trailer yet for halo 2. it shows some one playing level one and the whole video is of level 1. ok this is what i saw. there will be a new warthog with a shotgun on the back.
ther will be brutes witch are biger versions of grunts. The ghosts are 5 times as fast and shot alot faster. new drop ships that drop covenet tanks. also there are alot better wepons. you can hijack alot of stuff. you can get into almost any vechil. and i dont think ther will be a second halo, this is all about earth.

About the pc version, you poeple that want that will be waithing ALONG TIME. i was reading on official x-box forums and i saw that microsoft want to promote x-box alot more so they will wait about 3 years before releasing. also on xbox.com it says it will come out march not april.

No i cant tell you where the mission 1 trailer is becuase it was at my friends house and i didnt see where he got it. ill ask him though.

turbo did you read the book, if so did you read the last part. i just finnished reading it (got it for christmas) and near the end thay fight brutes. now i hope the game brutes are not as hard as the ones in the book. In the book they where faster then elites (but 3 times as big), and stronger then hunters (even bigger then hunters). that would be danm hard to kill. like master chief pumped a whole assult rifle magazine into ones cheast at point blanke and i still didnt fall, it took an antie tank mine to kill it. sorry if i ruined part of the book for ya, just wanted to tell you that i hope they arent that hard...

Lone: whats up man? yeah, i read the book. and it sure does make the brutes seem like they would be REALLY tough to kill. it says something like one Brute being able to destroy a whole pack of Hunters no problem. but, im pretty sure that in the E3 Halo 2 trailer( i saw it on the OXM disk) they encountered brutes while they were on the road, right before Master Chief hops on the Ghost.... i think its a Brute he knocks off, and he also shot a few, and they didnt seem to take too much to kill. but who knows. im just glad there are other Spartans alive this time around. hopefully they will be in the game.

The reason why Xbox decided to do the whole Brodband only crap is because 56K cant handle any of the online games. It can only handle simple ones like Madden, Basketball,Soccer and a few others. What i plan to do so i can use Xbox live is goto my sisters dorm room and use her high speed connection.

Definetly coming out this year because in England, if you buy a new X-box game there is this booklet which advertises new games that comes with the game. On the back of it, it says HALO 2 COMING 2004 and has a picture of the Master Chief. His armor looks a little different...

Anyway, I've seen a trailer of Halo 2 and I know one of the levels will be in a city, on the streets. There are tons of marines fighting covanents.

My suspicions are that when Halo was destroyed and they thought they had eliminated the Covenant armada, some had somehow managed to escape to Earth... Well, that's my theory. Maybe you get to meet the people who built Halo (The Forerunners). Who knows...

Well actually, every large army has more than one armada. Do you remember at the end of Halo 1 when Cortana said "And an entire covenant armada destroyed! And the flood... we did what we had to do!" I don't know it, but have you seen the video with the developers giving info about Halo in its early stages? When it was originally going to be a third person game on the PC. this game is gonna be so huge it's gonna be a two disker, maybe even 4, 3 mission disks and 1 multiplayer, the levels are gonna be huge, the... the... augh very excited... very very excited about this game, i mean I'm usually easy going and wouldn't get this hyped over a game but Halo2 and Fable are really getting me psyched

8GB are the amount of space for DVD Disc that PS2 and Xbox use. That should be plenty for a game like Halo 2. It should be about 2 disc max. Maybe gamecube will be like 4 or 5 disc lol.
