What is:Freedom Fighters?
FF is not a Final Fantsy,its my abbreviation for Freedom Fighters,a tactical 3rd person group shooter,like SOCOM and Ghost Recon,you work in a team,however the twist here is taht unlike the other 2,the chracter,Christopher Stone,starts out as a plumber,turned into a US Freedom Fighter.This is from IO Interactive,tghe creative fellows who work on the Hitman series.
Grpaphics:
Surprise! Guess what,FF doesnt look like its IO counterpart,Hitman,as much as it does Rockstar game Grand Theft Auto 3.Truthfully,you look at 1 screen and you'll almost tell it looks like its from the GTA gang.Even tho i dont like the GTA grpahics,this game has a unique look from all other Grpuo tactical shooters,i maen when ya kill a guy they will fall outta windows,and slide down rag-doll like surfaces.Its relistic.Trust meI think RStar can learn from this game's graphics engine.After all FF is setup in a real city,Brooklyn,and its full of stuff to blow up,so CELEBRATE.Actully dont...... 10/10
Control:
This is where FF maty outshine any 3 rd person shooter on PS2.Truthfully,it easy to pick up,hard to put down.The meat of the game is the recruit system.Eraly on,you'll get pissed becauser it will be hard when your on your won.But that changes when you save Isabella(not a princess,a leader).She gives ya the ok to recruit some of her best Freedome Fighters,by walking up to them and simply tapping X if you have an open circle(ya start with 3)then they will do the following:
(pressure sensitive,hold and they all do it,tap and one does):
Square-THey will simplay follow you,and if trouble comes across,they defend
O-Defend an area.Use it and they will stay where there at and protect an area.If your around a machine gun,they'll man it and take out the Soviet.
Triangle-Charge ahead/scout.Wanna get rid fo those stupid people?Just do this and they dip and book to an area ahead and literlyy put there life on the line for ya.
R3 aims,R1 shoots,it feels really natural,although it sounds hard,its bliss. 10/10
Sound:
The voiceovers are nearly perfect(there mouths dont move tho!!!!!!!!!!!!,only in cutscenes they do).Spekaing of which,the cutscenes are so good,they almost bore since most of them deal with politics,but thats good,indeed.And the in game effects are really defintive.The music is hard hitting,but my fave?When you accomplish something you cna hear someone yell "YEAH!!!!",and it ehcos????10/10
Fun:
Hmm...kill Soviets is pretty rewarding,,,raisng teh American falg at the end of every level makes ya feel pretty heroic,and this is all acommpineied by the nrealy perfect package,of great sound quality,perfect control,and hsapr grpahics.Yeha FF is pretty damn fun.10/10

Yeha it got a perfect,a platnium,straight 10's,stragiht A's,whatever.I htead Hitman 2,so I thoght id hate this.Truth be told,its probally one of my fave games of all time.I recommende this to anyone.If you know someone in the army in Iraq,playing this will make you feel really good about yourself.Its a perfect mix of everything.It may 50 dollas,but its wiorth even moret han that.Freedoem Fighters is the best 3rd person action game ever.PS2 XBOX GC what ever,buy it,itll rock your world.
