PC Game issue

Help! When I click on a game icon that I just d/l from the internet I get a quick DOS screen & then nothing happens.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

are you sure your not clicking on a setup or other .exe file? make sure the icon you are clicking on is the program file. If that doesn't work, then try unzipping it again, sometimes web files are compressed so much, they don't un-zip all the way every time. also if that doesnt work, then you might try running the setup file for the program again because you might have a display conflict in there. Theres only one file to click-Just the icon that normally I could unzip or begin installation with but when I right click theres only an option to compress it not to unzip & when I just double click it like I said just a DOS screen & then nothing

then open your unzip program and open the file to be unzipped through there...

It seems the file was corrupt but thanks for your help anyhow
