Sword of Mana is a better RPG, in my opinion. Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced is just a strategy game with battles and the like.

Okay here is the deal.. Sword of Mana was once a game called Final Fantasy Adventure but its been remaded.. the story is nothing new if you've played it.. and if you've played any other mana game you know the story already. The problem I have with this game is how everything jumps to conclusions out of nowhere. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a Role Playing Strategy pretty nice storyline plays on the concept of a child's dreams... Music is better in SoM graphics are better in FFTA they are both pretty good but if you want a fluid story go for FFTA because SoM will just irritate you by jumping from one thing to the next with no connection or rational reasoning.

Each of us prefer a different style of gaming. Free range combat to strategy really isn't a good idea to try and compare. I like both myself but when it goes to story and interest FFTA hooked me over SoM.

The story is THE most important thing about FFT, but the music.....I dunno, it's the feeling it's so....supreme! I love it :D
