Is there any possible way for me to open and edit .swf files with Windows 98? According to someone I spoke on msn, there is some kind of Windows XP software needed for this. Does that mean I have no chance in opening those files? :crying:

Please note that I want to be able to EDIT those files

I don't think you can open other swf files that are already published, then you could republish them and call them your own. I have not totally looked into this but I am kinda sure.

Yup, I did some digging. Apperently you can't just open SWF files right from Flash MX(especially when it is locked). What I did find though is on this (http://www.flashmove.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=785&s=) forum they had a program that would edit the SWF files. Here (http://www.sothink.com/swfquicker/) is the program so you don't have to goto the other forum I just thought you might was to take a look.

I am sure this is what your looking for, anything else just ask.

It does everything (I think..haven't tried it out yet), but only for 15 days. Then I'll have to find another solution.
