Tutorial: Creating a Wave Effect

Necessary tools: Photoshop 7.0
Steps: 5
Difficulty: Easy
1: Open Up Any Image that Has as Little White and As much Color As possible I`ll Be Using This Photo:

2: Now Hit Ctrl+I to invert it, take your Lasso Tool and Randomly Select areas you'd like to use.
3: Open a New Image about 600x600 (depending on the image your using's size) and Use the Move tool to move the selected area to the new image you created.
4: Repeat step 2 as many time as youd like to cover the new image you opened up, than once your satisfied hit Ctrl+E untill all the layers are flattened.
5: Now Go Filter=> Motion Blur and use these settings:

6: Hit Ctrl+F untill you get the desired effect
*Note: if there is layer transparecy than Duplicate the layer and flatten it afew time to get rid of it.*
*You can duplicate the finished layer and darken some areas and set the mode to overlay for a better result, Use the Patch tool if you get too many White or Brightened Areas.
And Your Finished!
*Note: Mine has been Darkened and other effects added to iit*
