BUT I just thought of a brilliant idea! How about tribes 1 (http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/tribes/) or 2 (http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/tribes2/)? Both those games are free to download the full game now.

My PC isn't slow, it's just my 56K internet. I guess those with slow PC's or slow internet (hey that's me!) would just have to put up with, yes that's right, LAG!

What game has most people got? And pleasedon't say Counter-Strike because I have to update my Counter-Strike and with my crap internet it takes at least 2 hours! And..I can't be bothered to wait that long and my internet disconnects after 2 hours for some annoying reason. :(

I dont own any PC games because I have a PS2 to play games on.
Also this computer runs really slow and the Internet is slow at times even with Broadband.

@ Redgore: Well I don't think alot of us have bank account cards apart from Genie and the older members so I dont think you could use any kind of PayPal. This games server is starting to sound like a bad idea to me.

I saw gameservers after typing a query at google. They weren't that expensive, and i think you can give access to only CD people. So that would give us our real own CD clan. :D

They might not be expensive but I would still need to have donations. My server I have at the moment could accomodate a game server and my bandwith costs are $1 per GB. I would need a garuntee of money coming in from those playing on it before I even looked at real costs etc. In the past I have provided the chat off my own back and noone used it, with people having to pay for the game server it would make them use it as I am sure not many of us have money that they can just give away

warcraft III can be a bit laggy for some peoples comps but we could get our own clan channel and use a bot to keep non CD members outa channel.

I think we should do Counter-Strike because that's free to download if you own Half-Life...I think. And Half-Life is SUPER cheap.
