Complete account removal? Well, if it is that extreme then I agree, but if they didn't actually mean to, a warning should be placed. Thereafter, ban for sure.

what? wats brought on this? if this is a stunt nick has pulled I wont be happy
Genie what are you going to classify as spam? if you've been talking to nick and that's what has brought this on then I don't think it is smart listening to him
if your gonna wipe accounts for spamming you don't need us security, nor the mod team so... I'm really not sure where to stand on this
honestly listen to reason, you can't wipe the few members who actually post here and use this as a general discussion forum because they might get a bit off topic or w/e. sure enough we delete move threads that get out of hand, or temp ban, ban and warn those who may not know what they are doing
but... if you value a whiner, who wants nothing more than to get a supermod position and feels he has to 'babysit' an entire mod team and is obviously not acting his age well then fair enough I guess I'll have to resign from my position of 3 years because I'm so incompetent

Nothing to say except. Not all spams bad. As Forsaken said, overrun spam gets dealed with pretty much right away. And frankly if your gonna out right ban someone right of the bucket for one piece of spam that they may not han intented to do...then I' haee to say your board, your rules...but to harsh a restriction = angry members which in turn leads to fewer members.

Ofcourse we are not going to remove accounts without warnings. ;) This sticky thread is more like a warning for those people who have the intention to spam. I value everyone's appearance here, but there are limits. I put allot of work in this upgrade and now we have this, people leaving the forums. :(

I know what you mean about people leaving Geine but I think C/D has got more life again.
Just a few days ago we lost Nick because of Spam I think and a few of members of the Mod team and Kaia as a dedicated member of C/D but I think she will return now and again, most do. So who next is going to leave??

I try my hardest not to spam but instant ban if you spam is way too harsh. I agree with Genie. Warning first but if it continues then a ban.

A warning in advance is a good idea, but from what I've seen people who spam for the sake of spamming don't care if they're banned or not. They just want to screw up a message board as much as possible before they get removed...

I agree....if they spam just to annoy the hell out of us....they should be banned without warning so we dont have to put up with them for any amount of time...
