Game Title: The Simpson's: Hit & Run
Rating: Teen
Game Type: Racing/RPG
Consoles: XBOX, PS2, Gamecube
---------------------------------------
Though this isn;t a new release, I think it deserves a review. So here we go. ;)
The Simpson's Hit & Run is the second Simpon's video game, following The Simpson's Road Rage. Today, we are going to review just about everything in the game. So sit back, relax and read. Then go buy the game (if you dont already have it).
Okay, first we're going to talk about the characters. Just about all of the main characters in the TV show appear in this game, as well as a few others. The characters include Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge, Maggie, Apu, Cheif Wiggum, Barney, Ralph Wiggum, Milhouse, Mr. Burns, Itchy & Scratchy, Principal Skinner, Krusty the Clown, and many more. As well as some new appearances.
Now, let's talk about the graphics. The graphics in this game are much better than in the previous game. They still have the cartoony feel to them but they are just simply amazing.
Now, we're going to talk about the storyline. The storyline in this game has to be one of the best I've seen yet in a game spun off from a TV show. It starts out when you're Homer, and you have to take Lisa's instrument to school (yes, I know....it starts out pretty lame). But as the story moves on, you get to be Bart, Lisa, Marge, and even Apu. Driving around doing tasks to help save the day. What do you have to save the day from? Bart was abducted by aliens, had his mind erased, and then returned to home later on. I know, not much of an explanation but I don't want to give away the whole story.
Now let's talk about the music in the game. A lot of the music came straight from the TV show but there are also some new tunes that tie in with the mood of the game perfectly.
Now let's rate everything on a scale from one to ten.
---------------------------------
Storyline: 8
Characters: 10
Music: 8
Graphics: 7
Overall Rating: 9
---------------------------------
Note: this is my first review so please let me know how I did. Thx a bunch!
