Vice City,im going spare !!!!

A quick hello from me and the sunny United Kingdom,now I wonder if anyone can please stop my suffering.
The game is Vice City and the problem is the task where you control the remote chopper and basically have to detonate the bombs in the tower block.
This wouldnt be so bad if it were not for the damn timer.
Is there any cheat available where you can freeze the blasted timer because I am now desperate folks.
Please put me out of my misery.......

Well it's good to see another UK member here on c/d.

First of all this thread should be in the GTA forum so a security member here at c/d will move it or a mod will and there is no cheat to turn the timer of sorry, but I can give you some advice on this mission.

1. I would practise going up the stairway just to get the navigation right.
2. You are better of starting with a bomb at the very top floor, this then gives you more time for the final drop off
3. Use the blades of the chopper as a weapon on the workers.
4. Use the health cheat if the copper sets on fire or starts to smoke.

I am guessing that you have all the other cheats for this game so apart from that there is not much more advice I can offer apart from good luck.

Thanks both for the welcome,well it looks like a case of locking myself in a room with loads of coffee and sitting it out,I just dont seem to have the patience these days,it must be stress of work.

seriously....its not a hard mission, the worst bit is when it gets shot at and i was frantaically steering it out the way, if u hav control of its movement it is really simple. mayb take a go at just steering it around and not the staircase so you don't go past them, i think if u are calm cuz by going wot your saying your havin a fit trying to do this isn't gonna help, a heart rate going faster than your mum in bed isn't good, keep cool get use to the controls and it'll be a doddle and you will proabbly complete with like a good 10 seconds left on the clock

but if you really can not handle it there is one thing you can do, get hold of an action replay card and use the code to freeze the game timer.

i think for any tips is not to go full speed on it cause to fast means u lose control and you will hit the floor or wall or something, best thing to do is creep around and you won't believe how much easier it will b

Well the main thing I did was the third thing Nitrous said. Use the blades of the chopper as a weapon on the workers. If you just try and fly away from them, they just chase after you and hit the chopper with them damn hammers. It is best to dispose of them before they can do some serious damage. Also, they can slow you down by getting in your way...

i was stuck on that level for a long time but then i went on it couple of weeks later and done it first time its wiered it always happenes..anyway welcome to cheatingdome...and keep trying....(the level that is)...

It is good, I just found it a bit short...I completed it quite quickly. I've never actually played Frontline though. I should buy it sometime. It looks awesome.

Yeah its quite playable and I love the whole Saving Private Ryan thing aswell,the first level o the beach is awesome......

Just fly the friggin thing! theyre not that hard. what system?

EDIT: kill the shooting dudes by chopping them. Ignore the fat hammer dudes. Start from the bottom (quicker) you then save going down from the highest one.
