Microsoft Interested in buying Nintendo.

According to gaming news, Bill gates is interested in purchasing Nintendo if they are ever on the market. If this is actually done, I will boycott microsft and Destroy all my Xbox games and system. I seriously would be furiated.

??? Buy Nintendo??? Bill Gates has lost his mind...Unless he's trying to eliminate some small competition. He can't buy Sony so he buys Nintendo....:P

Well this is the internet people so it could just be rumours.
Anyway this is what I found out.

Nintendo has denied claims made by a German magazine Wirtschaftswoche on Wednesday that Bill Gates is interested in a takeover of the company.

Nintendo's head of PR, Yasuhiro Minagawa, was quick to release a statement yesterday, saying: "Nintendo is not on sale, and there is no such talk at all." and
Microsoft also did its upmost to quash the rumours, stating Mr Gates' comments had been taken out of context, and that they were merely an "admiring joke".

My view: Microsoft and Nintendo vs Sony.
If the 2 companys were to join forces, they could create some very good games between them and maybe even a new console to try and beat sony for the release of the PS3.

This may become fact down the line. Should the new DS that Nintendo is doing flops and the next version of the Gamecube dies out, then this could very well happen. Or not. We'll see soon enough I'm sure.


Of course, Nintendo could just quit making hardware like Sega did and just do games. Sega is still alive btw, in case you didn't know.

nintendo and microsoft would make a good force...i mean they would probaly put like the gamecube in the pc so u can play both or something.....i dont want it to happen coz bill gates is rich enough as it is...and we dont want him running nintendo...thats like bush bieng the manager of an nfl team!!!!

Nintendo isnt competition. why would he even bother? so the discs can be smaller for the Xbox? Its dumb.......
