Just something for you to think about here.

What is the meaning of life?

To Experience Death

What is the meaning of death?

To Experience Life

What is death like?

Death is just like DEEP sleep. Where your asleep without knowing it. Only for eternity. Souls? They live on but without a trace in mind. Death. Things going on around you without you ever knowing. wars. deaths. think about it.

The human body and brain were never made to cope with the knowing of death.

Im just posting this because ive been doing some thinking recently.

When i have been thinking about this i have felt my heart sink a few times from knowing that it is true. So dont really think about it unless you have a strong heart.

I dont meen to get anyone down about there losses of grandparents, brothers, sisters, parents and family members.

Post your comments on this here....

u know these sorts of things will drag u down into a deep depression u wont be able to get out of, sure the big picture seems pretty grim and mediocre, that is why we have so many challenges to face everyday, to keep us from looking at the bigger picture, I've been where u are now and I hope I never see the bigger picture.

if u need something to help u through this consider life is simply a lesson, your body is the vessel of ur spirit.
you have your 5-6 senses which act as receptors for your spirit so it can learn as it is impossible for it to do so in it's spiritual form

do't believe in reincarnation or spirits? well another scientific point to consider. some scientists believe they have weighed the human spirit-it is something around the mark of 2.4Kilograms, as this is the amount of weight someone loses when pretty much immediately after their physical body dies

Wow. In a way i hope i believe in re-incarnation strongly enough for it to happen. I dont bother thinking about it until the real time comes.

Putting it as the bigger picture is definatly a good way of explaining it.

As for the spirits thats amazing. I hope it is true, as i could not stand the fact of myself BEING the bigger picture for eternity.

wether or not u believe in it or not is irrelevant.

lets consider for a minute that reincarnation is 100% true, u can be a complete skeptic your still going to return to the spirit plane, until a new body is chosen

(or you choose, that's a diff topic all together, how we actually return)

and you return to earth, memories stored away in your subconcious mind (or concious mind, wat is considered the sub concious could be the most concious part of our mind) locked away sometimes gradually returning and becomming prevelent in our new mind, so u can learn more, has anyone learned everything there is to know, full enlightenment? not a chance, we are discovering more and more everyday so the thought of one person reaching that?

some believe that full enlightenment (spiritual enlightenment) occurs when we have contacted our true self, our 'spirit' understand ourselves, I've heard this can be quite dangerous, sending u mad and such, but really wat u have u achieved?

Maybe your spiritual being locks away these memories, for experience, maybe affecting the things you do, or are in favour of or are against. Maybe these experiences come to you through things that are "gateways" like dreams, and certain substances... Some say the mind bends and twists to deal with the horros of life.. What if each new host had access to the moemories of the previous host(s)... It could be horrific, so many different memories, some for good, some for bad... Experiences of things the spiritual being perhaps chooses, based on past host(s) experiences, wants, and needs...

I read this book... Called the Dark Tower... Its a series of 5 or 6 books, and ive read 3 of them and half of #4.. i dont read much anymore.. anyways in #2 (the drawing of the 3), the main guy Roland is in this land.. he encounters 2 doors, each door leading into the mind of a person. I believe our spiritual being has access to "doors" like these... It can go from door to door and see other people's experiences, and transfer this through dreams... It's just a matter of connecting with this being, telling it what to do and where to go... It may also be possible that this being can control the actions of another person.. In The Drawing of the 3, Roland enters these doors, and as he steps closer in the room to the area of vision, things change. A man, Eddie, a blue eyed man is talking to a stewardess, and as Roland gets nearer, his eyes shift to brown, and roland can make the decisions, but if he backs away, origional possession is givin. This is a fiction book of course, but what if a spirit can do this with the mind of another person? get in their head without them noticing, making them feel like they are in control by doing something ya know, but actually influencing the decions and actions of this host...

....just a thought...

This may sound wierd but i believe in paralell dimensions... kinda..... i just think that when ya die, you go to another world (dimension) and then to another and another etc. (by this time it is centuries on and on) but at some point you come to the start of the cycle again. If you were to die when you were 18, you die in the next dimension at the age of 18 under the same cirmstances, same time everything. It just goes on and on............

no, not planets, dimensions. Other dimensions could be only 1mm away from us, and they would have to do the opposite of every decision we make.

E.g.

If i wanted a dohnut and an ice cream, and i chose dohnut. the other dimension person of me.... would choose the opposite (ice cream) get it?

Foresaken yeah definate man. It would be great but this world is full of sick and twisted persons. Why would they get a second chance?

Why would anyone deserve a second chance?
You live so that you later die.
It would be pointless living twice in my opinion.

The sick and twisted people who die could be reincarnated into a good person. They wake up one day, with memories in their mind. Stuff that they think they have experienced. And they've never commited a crime in their life. They don't remember anything about their previous life so how could you call this a second chance if they don't even know what they've done wrong to call this life a second chance?

On my post up there, incase i said i believe that, i don't actually believe it like a strong belief, i was just taking off from Kris's idea... Expanding, but with nothing to back it up, just ideas...

so if you died when you were just born... and you go to another dimension its like...

LIVE, DIE *go to another dimension*
LIVE, DIE *go to another dimension*
LIVE, DIE *go to another dimension*
LIVE, DIE *go to another dimension*
LIVE, DIE *go to another dimension*
LIVE, DIE *go to another dimension*

whoa talk about getting around a lot

Dark Realms, I like Liquids idea there, perhaps they turn to keep the balance of power, stop their from being too muchgood in the world, therefore cancelling any such feeling out?

I'm new to this site , but not new to life and philosaphy.
you could say that we will all die some day, but no.
both life and death are adventures, life with its dangers and romances,
and death with re-encarnation. when you body dies, you either stay or go,
stay as a wonderer, or go on to enlietenment. but there is an in-between,
re-encarnation. our souls do not just dissappear , it will ascend to a higher
plane of excistence or find a new body to live again. I don't care what comes between life and death, because what comes, passes. in between does not matter , its whats at the true end that does, so if anybody figures that one out please dont hesitate to tell me.

i do believe in multiverses with things like how some people see ghosts and stuff... they might have been able to see into the other dimention... it would make some sence kinda...

i do mostly believe in the soul and if different people have a soul or not... because thats really how you live. if you never get hurt in your life emotionally or phisicly, then you have no soul. pain is how your soul feeds, grows and gains power to live thru your life and have enough power to get to your next life, whatever it is. once your soul has gotten to your next host body, then its all drained of power and stuff. and the next life is how it gets the power back. obviously. but each time it gets stronger.
