Need help quick

When ever i come on cheatingdome (the main site) my security system always pops a detection notice up saying that a program named "hopper" is trying to download its self i just want to know if its a threat and if anyone knows anything about it.

I know the name "hopper" is more of a bug than a virus, but I don't get anything like that on c/d. What security system have you got?

Ban the program from accessing your computer at all times and it should stop bothering you. You do have a firewall, too, do you not?

Yeah, I've heard about these programs following people around through sites. I think it might have been froma previous site.

Hopper? Never heard of that one. I'd suggest getting the XP Pro Service Pack 2, unless you already got it. Second, I agree, make your firewall block this program from installing. (I have Norton Firewall), so I block anything I don't recognize, or anything that looks like having a weird name I never seen, or these stupid "weather bug" crap things or wanting you to install tool bars. Pretty lame sh!t out there.
