Er.. Just bought Doom3.. When i go to run it i get this (see attachment)

I dunno wtf...

I noticed that you have nero installed and that comes with CD/DVD emulation software called nero imagedrive, make sure its fully disabled by clicking on its shortcut on the start menu.

i don't have this Nero Imagedrive... At least it's not in my start menu, and when i searched for it i found nothing...

Would CloneCD or Alcohol 120% affect this?

No i dont.. theres nothing in my Processes or Start Up items related to CD/DVD emulation... I dont get it O_o

cloneCD has the same features as nero's imagedrive so is most likely the culprit.

Ok, Well i Uninstalled CloneCD, Nero, and Alcohol 120% just to make sure... Doom 3 works now... but...

Ok if you've played it, you know the very start you talk to the guy, he gives you the PDA... I'm walking down the hall and BOOM. Screen goes black for a split second and Doom disappears. So i go back into it, do it all over again, and this time in the hall before the last one, it freezes. I cant minimize, cant vring up task manager, so i eject CD an put back in. I hear the Doom Autorun thing... So i retarted, and im not gonna play for a minute and a half to have it quit on me...

Anyone know what the problem is?

Maybe you need to update your 3D Drivers.

That works for me most of the times

Yup.. I read on another forum that the Radeon series cards have some troubles.. so i went to TeamRadeon and got the Catalyst 4.8 Drivers, and it works sweet now :)
