Well, Metallica time!

Talk about whatever, Your favourite Metallica Album? Favourite Songs? Favourite member? Whatever you want...

Well I'd have to say my favourite album is Load (the only album i ahve lol) But i do have many of their songs thanks to a good friend of mine :)

Favourite songs would be: The House Jack Built, 2 x 4, Ain't My B!tch, King Nothing, Hero Of The Day, Until It Sleeps, and a bunch of others :)

Metallica had to have had the biggest downfall in music history.... because they flat out suck now.

to me its fresh because I have only started listening to them:)

uHM; fav songs..; The God That Failed, Whiskey in the Jar, Nothing else matters, Fuel, Of Wolf and Man..

Just because they F-ed up on St. Anger, doesnt mean they still can't do what they did on Load, Reload, Black Album, Garage Inc. and all the other AMAZING albums.

I think everyone who says they are "hardcore" metallica fans, and then disses St. Anger like there;s no tomorrow are just stupid and shallow-minded. I didnt like the songs on St. Anger at first, but after listening to some a couple times i actually must say i like it.

I'm no hardcore metal fan, but seriously St. Anger just sucked. I gave it so many chances, because it's Metallica, but every time I just realized even more how badly it sucked...

I'd like to say that I am a hard core Metallica fan. Yes, I'll agree Metallica started going down after the Black album. There are some good songs on St Anger (Shoot Me Again, The Unnamed Feeling, Dirty Window, Frantic) All Within My Hands kinda sucks, St Anger song sucks.

My favorite song is Trapped Under Ice in Ride The Lightning album. I think thats their best album to be honest. Black album was their best last album. It's a good album cuz it has these songs: My Friend Of Misery, Holier Than Thou, Sad But True, Enter Sandman, The Struggle Within, The Unforgiven, Where Ever I May Roam, Of Wolf And Man, The God That Failed, Nothing Else Matters, and Don't Tread On Me. All awesome songs.

But...I think Battery (On Master of Puppets), has the best intro than any other song.

I like black best my favourite songs are the unforgiven, nothing else matters, holier than thou and don't tread on me in that order as chili said they seem fresh to me as i've only just starte listnin to them tlking of older band anyone like guns'n'roses, nirvana or AC/DC

hahaa, you suck, Load is the Metallica album with the beset representation of Metallica's style, if you don't like Load you don't like Metallica trust me.

As for St. Anger, don't see it as in good or bad, they just haven't made an album in a long time, it will get better, I still like Sweet Amber, good song.

Hmmm...Been a while since I've been to these forums...well...now for an opinion.

As for Metallica...their last good album I think was the Black album. They started to degrade after that album. St Anger album is "okay", not as great as the older albums. I still think Ride The Lightning album was the best album they ever made. I like 3/4 of Metallica's songs, however, Black album was the last best album. The rest started degrading slowly until finally St Anger album was the worste. And I highly doubt Metallica is going to get any better. They haven't put out any new albums except in 2003. And now a days it takes less than a year. (maybe) Anyway...I think thats it for me.

I saw a thing about Metallica last night it was great.

MTV2 Icon: Metallica, it was loads of other artists playing metallica's music, and the guys from Metallica were there along with a huge crowd listening, it was great to see the reactions of the guys. U could see Lars pretending to play teh drumbs for all the songs while they were being played. There was an interesting documentry between songs. was cool.

For people who didnt know, they are recording a new album now with Warner Bros, they left their old label 'Elektra' or something.

The site said they are recording in Spring '05. thats now.. wheeeee..

James also added that they have 18 tracks they didnt use on St Anger, and they might edit them for the new album, but might scrap them altogether..
