I know for a fact it was a long time, cuz my sis's b/f Joe won $5000 on Cash For Life, and bought a PS2, this was a LONG time ago. He let me borrow it, and at that moment i was converted from Nintendo, to Sony.. I knew it was time i grew up ;) lol j/k...

But yea anyways, I bought my PS2 August of 2000 i think, because i had a 3 year warranty, and it broke down July of 2003... I know it wasnt 2001, because i got a new PS2 for X-mas of 2003, and August 2004 just passed :P

The reason we aren't hearing about a second Xbox? since Sony have announced the PS3, because the Xbox is safeguarded anyhow. the current Xbox will equal or better the PS3, might need one extra component to boost it up but it'll be there

the GBA faired so well coz it had backing from pokemon series as well as the immortal SNES!

nintendo DS! looks awesome, is still compact and is very powerful, the wireless they're incorporating is making my mouth water

Infinity Labs Phantom? was this project scrapped? it had potential to go far but.... kinda lost the hype with how u bought games.

but the Xbox, heavy? for 10 years olds, yeah ok, it's probably 5 kilos lighter than your average PC, but for the power of the system, that's well worth it

PS3 will rule...I think Dayle said a while ago that the X-Box 2 will NOT have a built in HD. This will be a major dissapointment for me if it comes out because I hated having to buy memory cards for me PS2...But I'm more excited about the PS3. Why? I don't know...:P I have no concerns for the PSP however. It's gonna cost a ton and I'm not really bothered about hand-held stuff...That went out for me a long time ago.

The Xbox 2 will not have a built in HD but think about it.
Microsoft love to make money so I think they will build external HD's that could connect to the X-box 2 by either USB or some other kind of connection.

Sony are meant to be doing the same kind of thing for the PS2.... but when we will ever see this I have no idea. As for the PS3 it's more than likely that Sony will make their PS3 with a built in HD.

I also heard reports a while back that Sony will make a PS/X 2.5 and a PS2 system that will be built into the new Sony TV’s. The T.V idea might be good but if you already have a PS2 then I don’t see the point in buying this. As for the PSP I won’t be buying this either I don’t think.

For me I have to say that I cannot wait for the PS3 and Xbox 2. I will only buy the PS3 but if I get a job that offers me a lot of money then I might look at buying an X box 2 as well.

If Nintendo does the same sort of thing as with GC, forget them. PS3 sounds interesting, but I'd have to see about that, and make sure it wouldn't be like PS2. And as for the next XBox... jeez I think I'll just wait awhile when the systems come out before I choose.

If the Xbox 2 does not have a Harddrive I wont buy it. I am intrested in the PS3 so will check that out. I may also pick up the Revolution.(Nintendos next system)


About the PSP. That looks intresting, but I am not willing to sell my liver and kidneys for it.

The DS I heard is getting some Square-Enix love so I wil purchase that. At least it wont cost an arm and a leg like the PSP.

oh also they wont be expensive, they're using them to reduce the size probably and make sharing your games and hard worked progress easier. they'll probably have one prepackaged when u buy the console.
