Well allot of people say the sequal to things is terrible and it should of never been made and in spiderman 2 that changed so what do yall think about Halo 2

Halo 2, im pretty sure, will be the greatest FPS ever, untill Half Life 2 comes out, then it will be second and will remain second best. :)

Lol, Half-Life 2 is gonna own Halo 2 when it comes out on X-Box...But of course, when Halo 2 comes out it'll be one of the best FPSs of all time...HL2 will be better though. :D

Yeah, there's an anti-gravity gun on it for christ's sake!...The graphics on the PC version of some of the best currently known to Mankind. Hopefully these graphics will be as good on the X-Box version...However, there is some more competition from HL2 and Halo 2. Call of Duty? Far Cry? Doom 3? These are some of the greatest shooters ever and they're coming to X-Box....But HL2 will annihilate them all. :P

Many Half-Life fans will be willing to buy 9800's to get HL2. If you buy the card, you get some money of HL2 I think. Besides, it'll be an even bigger hit on X-Box when it comes out on that because you don't have to buy any new video cards or anything.

Ok, so fair enough, it is meant to be one of the most anticipated releases in history...But when HL2 comes out on X-Box, that is going to be really big. Most people, including myself, will probably wait for it to come out on X-Box because you've got to buy 9800 Radeon cards, 3GHZ etc, for the PC.

nah, the hype will have died down, there aren't many people that know of HL liquid snake believe me. but Halo, **** i've had complete scrub turkeys who couldn't afford a loaf of bread come up at school and say Kris have u played Halo it's so cool rar rar

You do have a point...Admittedly, more people know about Halo than HL...But hopefully, when people see HL2 out, people will be running to see what happened in the first HL so they fully understand HL2....Yes I am aware that I am thinking of extremely lame excuses for saying that HL2 will be Halo 2...I know when I've been beaten. :P

Just thought I would poke my little head in this thread to say:

Barring any unexpected shenanigans, Halo 2 is done and dusted, simultaneously, for every region it will be released in worldwide." That means the game is well and truly on course for its debut in the US on November 9th, to be followed by a launch across Europe on November 11th.

As previously reported, gamers in Switzerland, France and Belgium will be able to get hold of Halo 2 on November 10th due to holidays occurring on the 11th.

Shame... I don't have an X-box or a fast PC but I can play it at a mates on his X-box anyway.

Hell NO! Halo 2 is going to be the best sequal ever on any system! I watch G4TV (formorly TechTV)a lot and saw it on Cinematech and just sat ther...gaping. It was AWESOME! It showed the whole first level. From the Pelican drop off to the first Grunt dropping to the first peice of the environment exploding to the first grenade being chucked to the first double weapon wielding moment to the first ride on the back of a Warthog while a Marine drove (for the first time)to the first Ghost exploding to the first Covenant Gunship exploding to the first Brute killing to the first Ghost hijacking to the last cinematic of the level showing the MC surrounding by Elites emerging from pods dropping out of the sky and drawing their Energy Swords. The Master Chief and Cortana exchange talk. "Bet 'cha can't stick it." says Cortana. "You're on!" says the Master Chief. Then he lowers one of his two SubMachine Guns and pulls out a Plasma Grenade. He presses a button and the screen blanks out. And *pantpantpant* UH! It was cool, man!

halo 2 will own all. admit it. there is no beating the sound effects made by grunts. + theres double weapons now with lots more variety of weapons. + you can be a covenant elite in multiplayer or storyline. need i say more? the levels are new, the butt-ugly monster that pulls you under the sea.... what else can i add.... :D

they have new aliens called brutes..... you get to choose what weapons/vehicles are on the multiplayer maps, + u get to choose out of many lvls. lots more choice than just killing eachother, there are teams and nerw modes such as capture the flag. you can play with others by connecting 2 x-box's and have teams of 4 battle it out.
