The title says what my current PS status is eh? Lol. Well, I had some spare time on my hands at school, and we've got PS there so I thought I'd have a go at making a couple of sigs. I am aware that they are VERY basic and plain, but like the title says, I am a mere PS n00b. So I thought I'd post these sigs up anyway. Post your positive or negative comments here and please bear in mind that I am a n00b to all this so try not to annihilate me with negative comments eh? Lol.

I have one question. How the hell do you insert images into sigs?! :P

well we all started somewhere mate;):)

if you have them saved on your HD, open the file in photoshop,
copy them, ctrl+c, and paste, ctrl+v (in the relavent canvas.. )
Or drag the image into photoshop.

Thank you for your comments everyone. Thanks for telling me how to put pics in sigs Chilli! I made some more sigs with images in them, but they havn't arrived in my email yet. Strange....But as soon as I can get hold of them I'll post them on here....Even though they suck. :P

Your sigs are kinda simple,... like mine lol you need to mess around with it a bit more get some practice in and stuff like that some new fonts are good aswell

Fonts (http://www.dafont.com)

To install the fonts unzipp the componets open your font folder usually in c drive click file.. Install new font then go to desktop click the folder the fonts in then click the font and its installed in like 2 seconds at the most

Copying pics to your canvass in two easy steps:

Step 1 (http://img27.exs.cx/img27/5103/step6.jpg)
Step 2 (http://img27.exs.cx/img27/6378/step10.jpg)

I think I'm improving, but I need some more practise eh?

TBH: your not really improving i mean i know your a newb but all your doing is using the gradient tool and filters making a succesful sig needs more than just a couple of letters and a pretty background you need to add borders, you need diffrent text you need to mix some filters around with each other the one that says liquid snake with the hyroglyphics is just a cloud filter you should try mixing some other filters with that

Yeah, I know. If I had PS at home then I could spend lots of time on stuff and improve my skills. But unfortunatly, we've only got it at school. I don't have much time to experiment with stuff...I'd get PS but it's like £100 and I already paid £100 for me X-Box back in March....Gotta wait a while until I start to drain my bank account again. :P

I would but alas, my internet is 56K. And the tryout version is about 100 something MB...If I had broadband, I would not be posting this message, I would be improving my graphics skills...

No offence Sora, but your sigs are almost as simple as Liquid Snake's ones

@Liquid Snake: The new sigs look better ;)

Lol, thanks! I made another sig. They're a little more complex I guess, but no major improvments. I made 3 versions of this sig:
