I'm just being honest here mate....Those sigs really suck. Sorry, but remind me NEVER to use paint when I make sigs...I find Photoshop quite easy now. What it takes is time, experimentation and practise...:)

A signature requires more than a background, text, and some images. Keep practicing.
Shadowfax

Go to http://www.good-tutorials.com/ .
It has Photoshop tutorials, and if you use the search and type in "sig", they have tutorials on things like making a sig, and sig borders as well.
So take a look at it. Your progress is very quick, so it should not be long.

Yeah...They're good sigs, but you need more practise. Try mixing textures with colours and stuff like that...Like I said, to make a good sig you need time, experimentation and practise.

You are making progress.....But try to experiment with the background, rather than have it just one simple colour. See what you can do with it. I'd reccomend reading those tutorials on the link Shadowfax gave. There's some good tutorials on that page...

At least try to explore the filters in Photoshop. It seems you use none, except for that other sig, so experiment. That is how most of us are as we are today.

Well I make 400 X 150 because I use images in my sigs alot and they sometimes don't fit and I like em big. Those are my reasons. Me have sig.

Umm...I kind of meant use the Magic Wand tool, so it's faster and more accurate.
or you can use the polygonal lasso tool, just veiw your pic as big as possible then use it even if your like a centimeter away it still comes out better

If you use the Magic Wand, it will select an area that is entirely the same color as what you selected. Then press Ctrl+X simultaneously in order to cut that area off, which in this case would be the outer areas.

Actually, you should try to blend those characters within the background. What most people usually do is give the background characteristics so that it matches the character they have applied into it. Now you have a decent looking background with a bunch of random characters in the foreground.

You know Golden Sun, Sonic Freak or what ever you call your self these days lol I have lost count of how many different sigs have loaded up on this page.
This one you got now with the blue backgorund and images looks better but you really should use a different font type.
Laguna Loire

To change your font, click on the 'T' icon to type text. In the top left hand corner, you should see one of those drop down bars with the word 'Courier' in it. Click on the arrow on the bar and you should see loads of different fonts to choose from. Try out different fonts with different colours, sizes etc...
