Internet problems

at my dads the internet will work, but it wont let me into some sites, ie hotmail, yahoo mail, and this site for school. It happend a while ago but i thought that i fixed it, and i went into it to make sure that everything is the same, and it was. Plus i thought that i made this thread, yesterday and i noticed that it was gone, so if i'm making a useless thread, sorry! Well i tried to sign into yahoo mail and it said cookies rejected. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the cookes, becuase it wont remember ANYTHING, and it's starting to go REALLY slow. I'm at school right now, so i can get some stuff done. Please help!

Well the cookies thing is an option in IE so you might want to check that first. Tools -> internet options -> privacy. From there you should find the cookie settings.

yeah i know how to do that and it's not the problem, i think that there is something wrong, thats bigger with the cookies...

Does your dad have a firewall or virus software? if so, make sure those site's addresses aren't blocked and check the software firewall settings....

yeah... i messed with the cookes and got it to let me on hotmail... lol well thanks for your help, i will remember it, also now it seemes to be running faster.
