Well, I bought these Logitech X-530 5.1 surround sound speakers, but I believe that my computer does not have a compatible driver, nor a sound card. If you know a site where I can download a free driver that may support it, please let me know by PMing me the URL. Thank you.
Oh, yes, I have a SoundMAX Digital Audio sound card/driver, I believe.

They are some Sweet speakers. I have the little version... 2.1 but I still like em. Did you try the website of the manufacturer? Or if its onboard, as in on the Mobo then did you check the mother board's website?

it's a brand spankin new compo Pep... and that makes sense for it to be onboard, hmm wonder why i didn't think of that, um check out ur hardware profiles for two different sound devices, i have some Intel intergrated audio then i have my card.
if u do install a card make sure u change the devices over by disabling the onboard and enabling ur card
they are great speakers, i have 6.1 but stupid me, i only have a 6 channel soundcard and though yay! my compo can handle it... 6+1 isn't 6 now is it? :)

You guys made no sense, sorry. And yes, they are some sweet speakers. If only the two in my wall and the one in the center played, wow...

1. Check the Mother Board manufacturers site
2. Check the soundcard site(your computer has one)
3. Check the logitech site
Maybe its time to buy a sound card....

I haven't checked my motherboard's website, I have checked the other two, though.
As for the specs on my PC, look at this: Specs (http://www.sonystyle.com/intershoproot/eCS/Store/en/lc/vaio/pdfs/Sony_VAIO-PCV-RS630G.pdf)
