I rented it and now im confused. Can somebody help me with the basic battle controls? and How do I change characters for fighting. lloyd died on me and then I couldnt do anything!

A=basic attack
b=tech attack like tempest,demon fang
x=gaurd
y=battle menu
r=switch targets
z=taunt,unison attack

once your someone in battle,you cant change the charecter,you can command one of your partners to revive you,but you cant change,only outside of battle is that whoever is on the top,in position #1,you will be that person in battle

the point is to bring mana back to sylvarant,as well as save Sylvarant and tethe'alla from the desians and yggdrasil,the angel...if you need know more,ask me,im the king of tales of symphonia,i know everything about it

ok well... wuts up with presea? why is she so quiet? and why does she hate cybak or wutever its called? the one with the royal research place where Lloyd makes the key crest for the cruxis crystal? And I got confused about yggdrasill's plan. What does he have to gain from reviving Martel? I thought that if she woke up, the desians, or angel or wutever he is would all go away. And who is the fat guy with the glasses and the cape. You know, the guy that you run into in that royal city in tethe'alla?

is that enough questions for you, smartz?

And how do you beat the Resolute Assassin and Guardian:Lightning?

Go after the guardian first. It may have more Hp, but it has the
unfortunate property of having virtually no defense, especially
when targeted by water based attacks. It should go down
quick, and with it gone, Sheena will soon follow. The only thing
that makes this battle remotely hard, is that you are forced to
fight it after another boss battle without the chance to heal.
Hopefully you were able to save a few items from the last fight
and will win this with little problem.

im intellegent so i write down the ways i use to defeat them

presea hates sybak because she was sent there to have experiments involving the crucix crystal,the desians and crucix or however you say it,are how you say,working for yggdrassil,crucix is made up of mostly half-elves :-) the fat guy you meet is not in the story anymore so dont worry about him

the one thing about beating the resoloute assasin, just like, take some extra orange gels and don't use them whatsoever. then after you fight the boss of the place, use the orange gels on raine or kratos and then make them use first aid on everybody that is going to fight.

as for your answer to the fat guy question. it seems too much of a cliff hanger for him to never be seen again. he seems to play a pretty large part. I'm talking about the guy with the cape and glasses. after you beat the second grand cardinal (the one with red hair and an axe who was gonna hang cocoa and snapped that villager's neck) you see the guy talking to him. so now do you know who im talking about?
