What would you do to make the GameCube Better?

Since the release of the Nintendo GameCube i have enjoyed it, with crazy titles
like Super Monkey Ball 2(not just for the kids), Skies of Arcadia Legends, great re-release of one of the best rpg's ever, and Viewtiful joe. But then there are the games that flonder it''s hardware compatibilitys like mario party(Just for kids), Not that many online games out there. NO MK Deception:mad:, not alot of
M rated games to intrest the adults. If i missed someting please add to this list
of disapointments. and ways you would make things right that once went wrong.

Sorry to say this but I don't think Nintendo should have even made the GameCube, it was ever gunna be as good as the X-box or PS2.

To make it better? hmmm I dunno used better hardware I guess but Nintendo should stick to what they know best.... Handheld stuff!!

Actually, PS2 should use better hardware. The GameCube's hardware is better than that of the PS2. In my honest opinion, all the GameCube need is a greater variety of games.

Gamecubes hardware is able to compete with the xbox in some ways with the ATI graphics card, and the GameCube has the best sound for consoles due to all
of it is MP3 formatted. It would be nice to see a re-release of some of the great
castlevania's on the GBA on the GameCube. But lets face it the games for X-Box aren't that great for peeps that care for gameplay rather than graphics, and i found more bugs in X-box games than other systems. Nintendo should sit this race out for the next gen console, with release's like RE4 and the DS see how it
does and then release your new system. It's not what come's out first it's who's
better, and nintendo you need this new system to be better, rather than apeal to the kids and make the games easy, or cute. Remake River City ransom in a 3d
world More action less strategy games.

The game line up is abit weaker than others, but the X-Box's line up isn't that impressive either. The PS2 is the best system gaming wise, X-Box graphic wise,
and GameCube is halfa$$ wise. It just seem's to me like they do what they want, not what they can. You can tell that some games just don't feel as complete as the PS2 games do. Like WWE Day of Reckoning great gameplay just lousy character selection and Crappy story mode.

What are Blabbing about DarkShadow? It has online capibilities, and it has a custom ATI Graphics card. Forget Fable and Halo, Fable was a waste of $50 bucks beat it in 12Hrs with all quest and items biggest half@$$ game ever, and halo is being played out, Project Gothem Racing was decent at best. HDD would be great so you want have to delete or buy memcards(or mod a MemStick :happy: ). Then again Fable and Halo would apeal to those who don't like challenging games, Halo is rough but play it like you would rainbow six and its a piece of cake.Fable what you do does not even effect the storyline, 600 evil points for a divorce, 14 for killing person WTF :confused: .

ok it needs more titles like metroid prime and mp 2:ecoes i meen just by the demo mp 2 looks good and they need more internet games and shouldve added that feature to mp 2

one of the Gamecube's falls.....the ability to play DVDs. Plus its variety of games didn't help it too much and there market is basically for younger people even though they attempt to cater for more adult gamers but just not enough.

welll i think they outha make a system that has all the capablieties of xbox live ps2 and game cube then they ougta improve the graphices and make the loading prosses faster and make it so its go a 50mb mermory card installed into it

IMO, the ability to play DVDs on a game console is nearly irrelevant. I have a TV with built-in VHS and DVD players, so I don't need a game console to do that. Not to mention that it has nothing to do with games or gameplay.

What I would change about Gamecube:
- Make the controller's control stick and C stick more durable. I've ruined no less than five controllers thanks to those weak sticks.
- Tons more online games.
- None of that lame GBA-GC connectivity.
- Put the Zelda Collector's Edition Disc (or whatever it's called) in stores.
- More action.

Half-White, I agree. A gaming console is named a gaming console for a reason. That's what the other gaming companies need to focus on, rather than trying to create an all-in-one entertainment system. However, I do believe that for some games the GCN-GBA [or vice-versa] connectivity is good.

First thanks for your opinions i never really expected to get this many,hope to get more.

Stop hacking on the graphics they are awesome, look at the ps2 game graphics they look the same as they di when it was first released. I would've liked more online games but the only one i can find is PSO. But you can't argue with the gameplay the GameCube offers. Resident Evil 4 is on my list of games for 2005
and MP2. The sound is better than the xbox(MP3 formatted) :D .Does anyone have an idea what to expect from the new Nintendo console.

Also, I'd like more production of their main series, especially Zelda...
Smash Bros. needs to have EVERY NINTENDO character!
and what to expect for the next system... 6 or 8 player... console memory space rather than card... more variety...

Yes Nintendo is sitting on a land mine of golden treasure but the majority of the company's that made them are with Sony :mad:.I say get Sega to give them the rights to "The Ninja" and make that a Ninja Gaiden Type game without the freaking hard @$$ difficulty. And where is Contra I WANT CONTRA, and a Castlevania, i mean Nintendo made those cult hits and they don't get either of them for there system.THAT SUCKS.

To make the GCN better they need to make the controlers out of lexum plastic cuse I threw one of my controlers at my wall and it blew apart like a firecraker:(...

I agree with almost all of you but I think the GC has a few graphic problames but it has evrything else..
They should make a sequil to skies of arcadia legends it was up there with final fanticy 9 good graphics great story line, but the final battle wasnt very good cuse you cant kill the last boss and still continue after :mad: .....

I agree with many reviews about James Bond Nightfire. In regards to the fact that almost all of the magazines that I read say that it still doesn't live up to the standard that was set by Goldeneye 007 on Nintendo 64. Even though the graphics leave it for dead.

in my opinion a sleeker design that wouldnt take up as much space would be a good change. I'm talking like the kind of thing that you can put sideways like the PS2. and also (and this is way out there) perhaps a controller design sort of like the DS which had a small display screen that could be used with a stylus to access stats, save menu, that sort of thing. I have stupid ideas.
