Two Color Effect:
This is a sort of two tone effect that gives your image of one color i
nice two color effect.
Before beginning tutorial, make sure you are using RGB, Image>Mode>RGB
Firstly you need an image to use this effect on.You can use the one
below, or use your own.

Now Duplicate the layer.
[b]Layer->Duplicate Layer
Now gaussian blur the duplicated layer.
Filter->Blur->Gaussian Blur
With a setting of 3.1pixels
Your image should Look like this:

We are now going to add colour to both the layers
Hit CTRL+U for the hue/saturation
settings:
Hue:28
Saturation:61
Lightness:0
Should now look like this:

Now go back to your normal layer and add a deep red to it.
(Click the eye next to the coloured layer, so you can see it)
Hit CTRL+U again.
Hue:0
Saturation:80
Lightness:0
Your non-blured layer should look like this:

Now go back to your Blured layer and change the Blending Mode to
Screen
(this is on your layer palette > a drop down menu at the top left).
Now you should have something like this:
