Has anyone ever tried to make their own RPG's?

I m just curious as to who out there has ever tried to make their own RPG's fer teh comp (Cept me of course cuz i hav already made bout 6) and who would b interested in makin RPG's??

i've made 2 or 3 with RPG Maker on the ps1, but havent tried anything on the comp yet. i know all about shareware and such, but havent yet learned any programming language (although i know there are some sharwares that you dont need to know much language for, like Adventure Maker).

what would be the best language/program to learn? i'd also like to learn how to make a RTS like Final Fantasy Tactics.

Java might help along with JavaScript for those... (that is what i use) also there is an RPG Maker Toolkit out there on da i-net... 1 on Apple's cite and 1 on http://rpgtoolkit.com

Download RPG Toolkit Version 2 or 3. 2 seems easier to use to me, but u decide. Then you can dowload templates or graphics and midis to use in ure game ;) it raally kinda fun
