I got XBL last week and have been having troubles hooking it up. I connected my ethernet cable from my xbox to my modem and then I unplugged the USB. Then I turned the modem off and waited two minutes. Then I turned it back on and tried to connect to Live. It says Cables Connected and then it will come up with a DNS error.
I called Xbox Live Help and then I got my MAC Address and the IP of my DNS. So I entered all of those into the settings and then tried to connect again...It still didn't work. So then I entered in my Subnet Mask and Gateway. It still doesn't work. I NEED this before November 9th for obvious reasons. Please help me!
