Our eyes meet
One by one

I notice you surround me
Yet i feel so alone

Much Like thee
Yet very Apart

A Refletion i must say
Is what dwells in your heart

It seems your here to stay
So i sit down

You do the very same

Follow my movements
I dont put you to shame

In creeps the silence
It feels all so strange

Something so Tense
My heart can not take it

"Speak!"
As i say!

Speak to your heart's content
it will do thee no harm

Yet you stay so silent
Follow my charm.

I Feel so alone
No one around

I look to a mirror
Not even a sound

It is my reflection
Nothing more

Now you get up!
And walk through the door!

I Am

I am but a simple-minded fool,
Wondering what will become of me,
I search the truth to the nothing,
Because I cannot comprehend this world.

I am like no other,
I rather be myself,
I hate being told what to do,
I will not be like you.

I am an artist,
I draw,
I believe,
I do as I see.

I am blind,
I let myself be driven,
Controlled I may be,
But I can see you are not the one to be.

I am a high school student,
Growing up in twilight,
Accepting what I witness,
Appreciating what I experience.

I am not what you see,
I hide myself within,
I am wearing but a mask,
Yet you fail to distinguish myself and I.

I am exhausted,
I cannot take another step,
Destiny will not come to me,
I must go on.

I am arrogant,
Though I am told I cannot,
I will not take those words,
And stride on.

I am someone,
Searching for destiny.

One of my oldest poems, but it is the closest I've ever gotten to reflect myself. Some greater things may be said now, some things I may retract, but it's all true...
