when i watched my friend play it i thought that it looked kinda dumb. but later he owned it and let me play it at his house for a few hours and i thought that it was pretty good :D makes me wish i had and x-box :P

Online yes, imHo, after playing 1/2 way through it, its not fantastic, not groundbreaking, the hype wasnt justified imo, its just continuing the story, like an expansion, except theres not much new.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case when I saw a trailer of it. I mean, sure it's set on Earth, that's cool, but there didn't seem to be any big changes. Dual weapons? Nothing big, other games have done that. Enhanced vehicles? Again, that's cool but it's nothing big. X-Box Live? That must be awesome. No critisisms about that...But I'm probably going to get this game anyways. It's probably good fun, but nothing new really...

i love this game. I really liked the storyline tho they really screwed up the ending... and i didn't know what to think of the flood brain plant thing.. i was pretty much like wtf?

anyways multiplayer is the best i've seen on xbox.. tho i might be saying that cos i kick total ass =P

^ Same here...It's alright for a while, but all the hype around Halo 2 is all about playing it online. The only reason all the magazines rate it so highly is because of X-Box Live. If Halo 2 didn't have Live, they'd be saying the same things we would now...

Well I finally beat that level, and now in the second all those sniping jackals are being real asses. It's really tough, but fun when you figure it out.
