Has anyone bought the DS yet? I'm thinking about buying it, but maybe I'll wait until the holidays and see if the price goes down a bit or some promotion is released.

I havent bought it yet... w8tin fer cheaper prices (Or as an X-Mas gift... either way)

All i know of that has bought it is Fire Element Lord... on the first day it came out even... (And he bought 3 games + the 1 in the package itself makes 4 already...) and there is only 4 games total for the DS so far

Fire, think you could post a pic of what the DS games look like since i have gathered that they look different (The cartrages -spelling- since i heard that they are like little CD's from 1 o ma friends) tks

dead pixels are when your screen has small dots (pixels) that just stay black (dead)

From what I have seen on T.V with games for the DS, I carn't seem to find much difference in terms of graphics to the GBA SP... I could be wrong but thats just my view but then again I'm not a a fan of handheld gaming and never will be.

The Sony PSP I have seen little clips of games for that also and even tho the graphics look closer to the PS2 I don't think it's enough to make me buy one.

To me . . . I would stick with Nintendo for a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGG time with handhelds. They have experience in making them and know what they are doing. Sony on the other hand . . .

There is a great difference. You should go to a game shop and see it with your own eyes, rather than a clip on TV.

ive preordred a nintendo DS in game three days ago along with a copy of super mario 64 x 4. they let me play a ds they had and it was the best.the graphics ten times better than nitendos old handheld.i really think the psp dosn't stand a chance.

well the games r gonna be cheaper and than the psp ones and u need to buy special discs i think to play dvds on the psp so wat the point???yeh umm well the ds graphics i say and also heard r more edging towards gc and look a little like the 64.but for $200 aussie ($120US,100POUNDS and hu knows in yen)i think i know wat im getting...a coffee maker lol
