I need help. Does anyone have a tut to teach me how to make a border. I need help. ;o

Did you try this technique? That one seems a little different.

Create a new layer (Ctrl+N).
Select the layer (Ctrl+A).
Go to Edit>Stroke and mess with the settings a little.
If you'd like to enhance the look, right click on the layer from the Layer Palette and go to Preferences or Layer Effects.
Play with the many settings until you get something you like.

I messed it up because I put the border before the Image :P Ok I'll try That.

No it isn't, haha...it's far easier, plus it saves time. =] Then again, not many know how to do advanced borders, so I wouldn't blame you.

lol, Thats how i do them, neto Taught me, boy..it took me forever to get the hang of it :P

lol, but yeah, you can do that, or three Pixel Border, i use them on my Anime Signatures, etc.

New layer
Edit=>stroke 3 Pixels, Any color (you want)
edit=>stroke 2 Pixels, Different color
Edit=>Stroke 1 pixel, same color as 3 pixel stroke.

i know what you mean by getting the hang of it, because it took me quite a while b4 i could just push ctrl a new layer then edit stroke and get the pixle and color where i want it.

also you should try using a different image that has white or a solid background so that you can take it out and make it blend better. and the last thing is your text... lol i'm not trying to be mean or anything it's just what i notice. www.acidfonts.com has some good ones and then just mess with the blending :rolledeye

i'm a rookie at this hold on... I can't do 5 things at once. but i could make that image with a white background though

yeah i know, but when you get it witht he white BG you need to get the magic wand tool then click on the white, right click, select inverse, copy and past on your sig. if you have problems with that or you want to go further than that just talk to me at champion1098@hotmail.com :rolledeye

yeah i like it! your definitly getting better. next thing you just have to expand your backgrounds. DEFINITLY BETTER!

I'm going to try to make a sig with a wind type background. Maybe add some Lightning...
