You need Photoshop for making sigs/avatars. I borrowed the disk from someone and put it on my computer so I got it for free. :P But if you don't know anyone else that has it, you'll have to buy it. It's damned expensive too...£100 here in the UK.

I think it's like £200-300 for Photoshop CS isn't it? I've got 7.0 although Pixels told me that there's not much difference between 7.0 and CS. There's not much difference between 6.0 and 7.0 I know that...

@meta It's probably the same price over there except in dollars. :)

In $ it around $150 - $160 for Photoshop 6.0 which is what I have, also has Image Ready 3.0 on the disk for animation. lol my sig is an example of that.

Photoshop CS is 700 USD. Check their site, unless one of your parents are teachers. Then you have the educational price of about 500 USD.
