My dads mate just got Call of duty Finest hour and he says it's really good fun.
But what I want to know is, is it better than MOH Frontline and Rising Sun?

basicly I get all the way up to the trucks and get pinned down by the macine guns and die every time if you could give a quick run through that would be great thanx

that game is wicked awsome i got this xmas and it's way better then anyother war games. what level are you on on it?

I have one question... do you control more than 1 player at a time... like in the conflict dessert storm games? or is it like MOH Frontine where the rest of the troops are IA controlled.

Was gonna get COD on PC to play it online but I can't be bothered now. :P Yeah, it looks good on PS2. I'm sure it's better than Rising Sun. I've got Rising Sun. Disapointing, but I still thought it was an alright game.

ya its true the rising sun games werent the best ever. But they are still good

I like MOH Frontline and Rising sun on my PS2... a new one called Dogs Of war is out in March/April next year accoriding to my sources, might get the new one on the PS2.

Oh and just 2 let ya know I picked up Call Of Duty today on the X-box... could have got it on the PS2 but I think FPS games work better on the X-box coz there seems to be less or no slow down at all

Edit: + I like to use the trigger thing to shoot for some reason... just feels better somehow... *looks around for people to agree with me* meh *shuts up*:D

Edit 2: the game is pre owned and it just locked up on the 2nd mission... not sure if it was just a clitch but if it happens again I'll take it back... Overall the game is good but the gun shot sounds don't sound quite as good as what MOH Frontline and Rising sun has.... meh could just be me tho.

well i didnt use the tenter mines. I used the mines that stuck on things. Just use them instead. :)

Been playin Call Of Duty for a while and it's ok but there are just a few things that stick out for me that make in not that much fun.

1. The graphics are not much better than the MOH games (rising sun and frontline) The mssion levels are nice.... it's the people that arn't

2. The AI is about as dumb... as well you think of somthin... they just have this way of gettin in ya dam line of fire and the game is harder than steel at times and there arn't really any saves points.... the PC version has a quick save feature but on the console it doesn't and with the missions being kinda long ya need one.

3. Mine locks up on the 2nd mission at the top of this hill with the germans running at ya and shootin ya in the a$$ lol... quite a few people had this problem but mine won't stop lockin up!!! SO.....

5. I no longer have the game... got the money back and got Killzone on the PS2 after lending it from my uncle... played it for about 15 min then went out and baught it my self....

Call Of Duty:Not so finest hour... yes I was a little disapointed with this game to be honest... might have been ok if it didn't have the lockin up problem tho... dunno might try and get this game again somtime but I very much doubt it. Has anyone else here had a problem with the game lockin up tho... coz It might have just been that disk but it's happend a few times now.

I think it was ur disk cause mine doesnt have any problems.Ya in some points ur right and i some ur right and wrong.your right bout the saving thing that does suck.But as for the game not being good ur right and wrong. yes at the begining it is dumb but after awhile it is the best.after a while you get to drive tanks and blow germans up lol that fun.

rising sun sorta sucked coz my bro lent it to me rite, i played it 4 a while at nite then went 2 bed. got up at bout 8 and finshed it at bout 11 on normal.wat a waste but we traded it in 4 somethin...i think it was flatout...*looks 4 laffs then runs*

Yea I will prob get Call Of Duty again somtime in the future... just gunna wait for the new MOH game called Dogs of War... no idea what it's gunna be like but if it turns out better than MOH Rising Sun then I'll be gettin it... MOH Frontline is good tho.

ok y did u get caLL of duty.get oxm and ull no wat to avoid unless ur i die hard fan of the world war 2 shooters then thats alrite...i rented it and got stuck on this tank part and i didnt try it again then i went and played halo2 and now thats a game to remember in 59yrs

hey there, just bought call of duty: finest hour but cant seem to get the unlimited ammo cheat to work. it says if entered correctly it'll automatically go to the main menu screen where unlimited ammo can be selected. doesn't seem to work though. can you help at all?
