what is a basic/free program i can download to make simple animations for sigs and avs? something about the level or lower than anubis's walking guy...

Don't know any free programs you could use for animations...I use ImageReady. But that's not free, I got it with PS 7.

Free, i doubt you can get imageready without getting it illegally... (hehe liquid ;))

Also, Anubis' sig is pretty hard to make, and takes a little practice, learn the basics first...

well, at the moment i cant get photoshop or anything else like that, so nevermind. thanks tho.

well there is a very basic one called animagic i believe. you use paint and then you save every frame. then you upload it on animagic, backwards, and then play it.

i wouldnt reccomend learning animation first

it takes ages to do and stuff. but Imageready (Comes with photoshop) Is probly the best to do simple animations, as my signature, or something. if you check my thread here: http://www.cheatingdome.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17596

you can do that add movies to them, and convert .mov files into .gif animations, as i did there.

Also, you can do rollovers and such, but it takes practise.

and as i said, i`d reccomend getting to know photoshop really well before using imageready.

But, in case, read my tutorial in the tut. section of the forums, i cover the basics of animation, and if you need any other help just ask. :)
