This thread is for secrets, glitches, easter eggs and tricks in the game. Post them here.

Official Glitches
- Garage: Modified cars can loose paint jobs and increase loading times.
- BMX: Double tap 'X' while pulling a wheelie and sound the bell. CJ is now stuck leaning back for an infinate wheelie.
- Interior World: Go into 'Ganton Gym' kill everyone inside. Enter the jetpack cheat and go to the yellow marker and fly up. Land on the roof. Fly around and you are now in the 'interior world'. This is an area high in the sky of SA that no plane can get to. Fly about aimlessly pissing about in the interiors of buildings. Kinda funny.

Official Secrets
- Helicopter: If you get enough wanted stars while using the jetpack to get helicopters on you, you can fly up and land on top a helicopter and it seems like the physics cancel out. So you can just stand directly on the helicopter and it can't shake or shoot you and for the most part no matter what it does you won't fall off!

There seems to be a lot of confusion, so I'll try and explain. The Interior Universe is an area high in the sky, much above the limit for any plane that can fly. However, with this trick, you can fly around there with the Jetpack, and view various interiors that you find in the game. You must be careful to stay up though, because if you go too low, you'll drop down into the Ghost World. Now, to the intructions...

1) Go to the gym in Ganton
2) Kill all 4 people inside (don't ask why.)
3) Use the jetpack cheat
4) Walk to the yellow marker with the jetpack, and fly straight up. You'll go straight up through the roof. Now, land on the roof.
5) Fly 2 blocks east, and you'll see a yellow marker. Land right on/near the marker, take off the jetpack, and walk inside the marker.
6) You'll enter the Angel Pine Motel building. Grab your jetpack (if you see it), or respawn it again with a cheat.
7) You can now fly up, and around the interior universe.

A few warnings...
1) If you fly too low, or too high, you'll get stuck and not be able to move left/right/forwards/backwards. If you go straight down, you'll be in the ghostworld with all buildings/cars invisible. You can only see peds, and sea life, and weapons. It's fun for a while but gets boring.
2) If you see the "LOADING..." screen for a split second, you've gone too far down. You'll need to reload.

These are more finds that Glitiches or Secrets but meh there all good.
Note: Some of these were taken from the thread I made a while ago.

Chicken poster - Go into the Martial Arts place in San Fierro (It'll come up as a gym on the map) when you go in, look for a small yellow poster near the door. Look at it with your camera and zoom in. Read what it says...they are about the Triathlon Races and these are the following locations.
Santa Maria Beach
Fisher's Lagoon

They are only available on Saturdays and Sundays. If you didn't know already,press L1 on your controller and the abbreviation of the day of the week is on there. Look for the Sat or Sun to go.

At Fisher's Lagoon you can also find and oyster, right near the wooden pier thingy... thats the first one I have found lol. Then it said something like 'Oyster Collected. 1 Out Of 50'. There are 50 horseshoes and 50 oysters and 100 spray tags in GTA SA, if you look in your stats you will see how many you hav collected from each. it isnt a find its part of the game, if you wanna complete it 100%

GTA + Manhunt adverts! - Buy Zero's RC shop and go inside it. Look for a rack of magazines behind or next to the counter. Zoom into it with your camera. One magazine will say 'Grand Theft Auto - Vice City' on it and has a blurred picture of Tommy on it. Another magazine on the same rack says 'Manhunt' on it, with a picture of the guy from the game.

Drivable COMMERCIAL SIZE passenger jet has been discovered.
if y'all wana drive it get to las venturas airport, south end, there is a mahusive hanger near some cargo containters stand by the front of it and the hangar door will be subducted into the ground and you have yourself a jumbo jet
note: may not always appear so go save your game and then return. Enjoy.

Blow up Gas Station (Petrol station)
In san Fierro there is a petrol staion with like a X that spins round, it's the same staition that you had to drive to when you had to pick up the men for your own carage with The Truth guy. Try and bail out before you hit the petrol (gas) tanks for a cool explosion. :D

u obviously dont know any thing about cars bikes and stuff like that ( unless there on games ) if u did u would know that 46 numbered on the MOTO GP bike is valentino rossis. So in other words its his bike that they have put in the game :cool:

Actualy just for the record Liam... i know alot about Moto GP and cars for that matter.
Yamaha M1, Honda RCV211 and Ducati... best bikes out there.... and rossi is a cut above the rest... but the bike in GTA SA has nuthin 2 do with rossi's bike or Moto GP....

Anyway. Not really found much more in GTA SA so far... not been playing it, to busy on the X-box lol

oh ya, about san andreas, has anyone encountered a glitch about not being able to workout, every day it says that ive worked out enough for the day and to come back the next day, when i do it says the message again, does anyone know how to fix it?

thanks for trying to help, but i do not go there too much, i try to go there everyday, and each day it says the same thing, i only go once a day to try, i never work out each day so how could i go over the limit?

ive been trying to find out that, and i have, all ya have to do is keep trying and eventually it goes away, i suppose by being here you have used cheats, thats what has caused this problem, i got to know that by a friend

well you get ur jetpack and fly up to a nearby rock shoot it from there it should disable

i heard there was a way to turn them off without distroying them, if i wanted to destroy them id take my hydra from my airbase and blast em that way, much faster and way more fun

Heres an EASIER way to get to the yellow marker in the B.H.:

Do the instructions. Land on top of the G. Gym. Go to your map, and mark where Denise's house is usually (2 blocks east). Follow the red dot on your screen.

Land onto the marker. You are now inside.

A friend of mine is making a map of places you can go inside. I will post it up here when it is finished.

You can go into Area 69, but you have to keep a certain altitude.

Anywho,i've got a glitch. At least I think it's a glitch.




Step 1: Go to any airport
Step 2: Take any airplane
Step 3: Get in the airplane you took
Step 4: Fly to the Las Venturas/San Fierro/Los Santos airports
Step 5: As you near one of the 3 major city's airports,start to fly up really high.
Step 6: When you see clouds and you've reached your destination,jump out of the plane.
Step 7: Activate your parachute when you're halfway down from your jump.

You'll jump through clouds,it's cool. If you wanna,you can die. I think that's a glitch,I dunno.

Easter Eggs:

Idle Screensaver

Do not move CJ for 2-3 minutes. The display will be removed and the camera will start to follow and zoom into any activity going on (ie. Pursuits, fights, people talking).


Change the size of the moon

Shoot the moon with the sniper rifle and it will grow until it reaches a certain size when he will shrink when you shoot it again.


DRIV3R CAMEO

In the mission Madd Dogs Ryhme Book Sneak in without alerting anyone and whn you get past the bar there is a man playing DRIV3R. Listen to him Rant about the game! Its hillarious


Arcade Games

Walk up to any arcade machine or console system in the game and press triangle, you will be able to play retroesque arcade games.


Civilian Lemmings

Go to the gym in Las Venturas, and through the bomb garage next to it. Stand in that alley and look at the building across the street to your right -- and you'll see people jumping and walking off the roof. It will only happen if you stand in that alley and watch it from there. It's pretty much a Lemmings Easter Egg since Rockstar North made Lemmings (the company was known as DMA then)


Funny License Plates

If you import a car at the docks, most but not all cars have plates that differ from normal ones. One says "our fergie", or "disco stu", and a really special one says "ea sucks". Try it out.


Jesus Saves

In Los Santos there is a wall painting with a heart, Mary and an angel on it and it says: Jesus Saves. In GTA 1 and 2 on the buildings where you saved it said the same thing.


True Crime Easter Egg

In Los Santos, at the Unity Station, look at the tunnel in which the train goes into. And look at the sign above it. Zoom into it with a sniper or camera. The sign reads: True Grime Street Cleaners.


Wet Cement

At the top right of the outside walls of Caligula's Casino, you will see a wall indentation like this /¯\. If you walk towards the back wall slowly, you should get stuck up to your knees. Pedestrians will also be stuck and not be able to do anything.


Gant bridge easter egg

Get a jetpack and fly to the top of the gant bridge. At the top is a sign saying: "There are no easter eggs up here. Go away."


Bridge Facts

On the San Fierro side of the Gant Bridge, there's a little diner. In the parking lot area, there's a sign with various statistical facts about the bridge, like how many MBs of memory it takes up. It also shows an actual piece of cable on display.


CJ Sings

If you leave the game on and don't do anything CJ will sing songs heard on the radio. The songs you will most likely hear CJ sing is the songs on your favorite radio station.


Make the cops arrest other people for once!

If a cop is at a red light and a car is behind the cop car, crash your car into the car so it hits the cop....cop gets out and so does the other guy and they start shooting/fighting

Secrets:

Rack up money at safe house

If you leave your PS2 running in order to build up money at your safe house you will eventually lose all your life from hunger and end up in the hospital. However, if you go into CJ's house and leave him playing the video game system in the living room, money will still build up and his health will no longer deplete.


*** Toy Weapon

In Los Santos, go inside any police station and go into the shower room. Inside you will find a purple *** toy you can use as a very powerful weapon.


Location of AT-400 (747)

In Las Venturas Airport there is a very large, lone hanger at one end of the main runway. If you walk up to it it opens top to bottem. At certian times of the day an AT-400 will spawn inside this hanger. Its difficult getting it out undamaged, but you can reach max height with it, plus you fly so high that flying over area-69 wont get you a wanted level. A must for the skydiver.


Become In debt to the mob

After obtaining a high gambling skill, gamble in Caligua's until you have actually lost money. (Your money will turn red). After a while you will receive a call from a mobster at Caligua's, who informs you that you owe him money. Later again, he will call you and tell you that some of his "associates" are coming to talk about the money. You will then be hunted down by the mafia, and they will try to kill you.


Infinite Photos

First, save your game (with a camera). Now, press L1 to take pictures of any photos you want (save it in your gallery), until you're done photographing. When you are, reset the console. The photos you have taken will still be in your gallery, only you won't have lost any film!


Fast and Easy way to upgrade weapon skills

Take the gun you want to be upgraded and aim it at a tire of any vechicle. Then just keep firing and your skill builds up quick.


Police Impound Garages

To get the car you were busted in go to the local city police station (LSPD, SFPD, and LVPD) and enter the garage with a police vehicle. Drive down to the very end of the garage to find your car you were busted in.


Win Chiliad Challenge easily

When doing the Chiliad challenge let the other racers finish before you. Then stop before hitting the final marker and get off. Next get out a sniper rifle and snipe all of the competitors. After each snipe you'll notice your position is going up. If you snipe them all you will be in first place.


Use the Vortex as a Submarine

Use the Vortex between El Quebrados and the abandoned airfield to take the small unique jump ramp that's on the back of the small shack it's parked next to. When you land in the water, the unique jump slow-motion cinema should keep going, with the camera fixed in one spot. Drive way out into the reservoir, and towards the dam, to the left of the camera's view. You'll disappear from view, but keep going. Eventually you'll run into the side of the dam and the cinema will end, leaving you under water and able to steer the Vortex like a submarine, without draining lung capacity or anything, as if you weren't underwater at all.


Chilliad Challenge easy win alternative way

Another way to easily complete every race in the Chilliad Challengeis quite simple, throw a grenade at your opponent(s) and they will be eliminated from the race. Normally, using a weapon will get you disqualified, but using a grenade is fine by the games standards, and this method is a lot less cheap than the other one for this challenge, and works just as effectively.


Get No Stars While Blowing Up Vehicles

In a helicopter you won't get any stars if you use the chaingun for blowing up cars instead of the rockets. Even if they're right behind the guy you're shooting. As long as you don't kill any pedestrians or hit a cop car with a stray bullet.


No Timer on Quarry Mission

On the mission where you have to steal dynamite for a Wuzie mission you normally have a timer but if you go to the center of the construction site there is a grey stage with a person on it and the dynamite plunger right in front of him. If you kill him the timer will stop and you will have all of the time you need to complete this mission.


Easy High Score in the Arcade Game "They Crawled From Uranus"

Once the game starts simply hold the joystick in one direction and the aliens' fire will never hit you. If you fire while doing this you can easily rack up points without ever dying.


Free money in Pig Pen without money cheat.

When you enter the Pig Pen, jump onto the stage. When you get on the stage, walk infront of the Stripper. The men will throw 20 Dollars to her. Since you are where the money appears, you collect it. They throw the money in 20 dollars intervals every 10 seconds. Great for begginers since Pig Pen is 1 minute from CJ's house.


Get out of debt trick

To get out of debt, no matter how far you are in, find a Unique Stunt Jump that you haven\'t been rewarded on yet. Hit the jump and you will be rewarded. However, this causes your money counter to reset to all zeroes.


Free ammo without pay purchase

Enter an ammunation shooting range and then press triangle to leave it. Gives full ammo to whatever gun you had equipped.


Get Twice the Amount of Progress With Girlfriends

You have to have two controllers for this trick. When you go to your girlfriend's house you have a choice of either going on a two player free roam or going on a one player date. However, at the end of the one player date the two player icon (usually located by the door) will linger for a few seconds. You have to quickly go into the icon and activate it before it disappears. After that you can either end the free roam quickly or play around it doesn't matter. If your one player date was good and you gained progress you will gain even more progress from the free roam. However, if you had a bad date you lose more progress by activating it.


Infinite Spray Paint

In the earlier Sweet Mission "Tagging up Turf" you receive an infinite spray paint can. Since there is no timer on this mission, you can go around Los Santos with the FAQ tag map and spray all the tags without refilling the paint. Sweet!


Basketball Cheat

If you have a wanted level and start to play basketball, you cannot be injured in any way.
