Lol. I just thought that i should battle someone... Well preferably someone at my skill level. Just for fun tho... but first i need to make sure that my Photoshop will work because for a while when i try to create something new it wont work. so reply if you think your at my skill level and want to battle!

(But then again, the judge should set it, because we should be well rounded...)

EDIT: And the judges should know how to judge. Something may look bad, but really its just a different style that would look good if there were others kind of like it.

Should not matter the program. I mean Paint could do it even (but to be good, they would have to do glows and stuff by hand...take you years to complete)

But as far as I know it, there realyl is not much difference in the 6-7-CS. They have about the same capabilities. Mostly the interface is kind of different. (CS has a filter browser)

I think one of the requirements for judging has to be a 'Dedicated Graphic' maker. Otherwise, how do we know if your judgement is credible? These battles are just the thing to earn you that status also, for some people who do not know.

i dont know. i know that the winner will get something put in their sig, i dont think that there is a limit to who can or cant join... well i bet that you will. because the only reason that we have certain ppl make sigs is cuz it makes the place look better. this wont be posted every where.

I am judging and so I will not join. Also, I'll leave it to you guys. The people who are not the dedicated makers should join, so they can work on their skills.

Also a couple of things to note:

1. Are we going to have progress checks? Because if the people are to work on their skills, then we should have progress checks so they can look at the other contestant's work, and that will show them what they probably should fix.Pease consider this.

2. If you cannot come up with a small reward, then how about if someone wins, and not only do they win out of the bunch, but their piece is well done, then they get to be a maker. (for the current makers, your reward will be the fact that you won)

So then let's get those submissions.

Finished 3? Wallpapers or what? Are we going to make wallpapers or something else? *is confused but is absolutely sure of joining*
And there isn't any theme or anything right? So you're totally free in your design?

EDIT: IF it are wallpapers we are making...then do they HAVE to be 800 x 600? I mean, if I just happen to make one I really like to use for myself...I can't because I use a higher resolution!...

EDIT: And another question...can you use pictures and/or brushes?

and prolly easier with 800 x 600 so everyone can see them alrightish ;)
if you need to you can skretch them... thats what i do and it looks fine

We are going to tell you what to make. Just be patient people. You don't even start submissions until January 1st.

And yes, 800 X 600 is the good size for wallpapers. Yes, it will be small for the people with 1280 X 1024 and higher resolution, but too bad. Most people have 800 X 600 or 1024 X 768.
