Entering Cheat Codes in XBOX

I am fairly new to xbox. My question is how are you supposed to enter cheat codes? Thanks.

As in AR or ones like Left , Right, Left?

Ones that you push the buttons differ greatly from game to game. It should shy where and how to enter it if you read the hint on C/D but . . .

Post what game you are wondering about, and maybe I can halep you further.

I just started playing Rainbox Six3 and the cheats I found on this website are numbers......and on another website it gave intructions like left, left, up down, A, B etc........

I have only a few games so far, PGRacing 2, Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon......Im waiting around for about another month before I upgrade or mode my xbox with a new hd so I can save my games but thats a different subject. For now, I would kust like to know how I can get the codes working so I can practice and not be such a newbie once I get xbox live. lol

It is usealy under opitions in the menue or at cheating dome it will tell if you will put it in at the main menu or the wepon select screen,ETC.

yes but i followed the instructions, ie. in game play, enter up down right left etc and nothing happened. Ok, so what is up and down? Is it from the left toggle stick???? or the directional pad? I tried everything.

it is either the D-Pad or Left Joystick. They do the same thing. Usually if it says in game play, u have to enter them in the pause menu . . .
