Well, for 4 to 7, you have to beat the Elite Four and activate your National Pokédex. As for 8 and 9, you require special tickets which can be obtained in Nintendo Events, or by the use of a cheating device.

Some of them appear on the islands. The rest you either need to use an AR to get, or trade over from R/S.

You have to beat the Elite Four and return the Sapphire and Ruby Stones to their respective owner.

You also need 60 Pokemon. Then you talk to Prof. Oak and he upgrades your Dex to National.
Try to get a dragon pokemon or something that can use an ice based move to take out Lance's Dragons.

blastiose lvl 59 attacks:
water pulse
hydro canon
surf
earthquake
-Get rid of two of the water attacks, you only need one. I'd keep Hydro Cannon.
Lapras lvl 25 attacks:
blizzard
body slam
confuse ray
strentgh
(im going to replace this with articuno wen i get it)
-You need to raise this Pokémon, fast.
zapdos lvl 53 attacks:
steel wing
thunder
fly
drill peck
-Seems good. I'd replace Fly with something else.
arcanine lvl 30 attacks:
ember
fire blast
odor sleuth
take down
-You need to raise this, or replace it with another type of a way higher level.
moltres lvl 50 attacks:
fire spin
agility
endure
flamethrower
-Moltres has a very limited movepool. All you can do is train it and eventually teach it Heat Wave and Sky Attack.
hitmochan lvl 25 attacks:
comet punch
agility
pursuit
mach punch
-If you're going to use this, you better raise it's level.
this may change after victory road but tell me if its good
If you don't have at least 4 or 5 Pokémon, level 50 or higher with a decent moveset to cover most types, you're going to be defeated quite easily.

The first round may be a little easier, but without the right moves (not only does this guy only have 3 Pokémon level 50 or higher, but the movesets are horrible), you will be beaten.

Did you save afterwards? You should turn off all codes and make sure everything is working properly before saving.

You need reading lessons. I said that whenever you use codes like these, you should save before setting them on, and always check that your game has not been affected in any other way than for what you wanted. Then you may turn off the codes and save your game. Never, ever save your game with the codes still on, they will stay on it permanently unless you restart or know your ways around hacking a game.

. . . If you entered them correctly, nothing shoulda happened. Didnt mess my game up at all . . .
When they are in two different lines, like this:
4862178 45974238
Enter from left to right, then go down a row. Those codes didnt mess my game up, so the only solution is that you entered them incorrectly . . .

OK!! I figured it out. Make sure you have the National Dex, then enter teh codes desired. After that, just turn on the Birth Island/Navel Rock Enabler, and you game should be safe. I just noticed that. Try this and see if you get to Islands 8 and 9. If not, use the DMA Disabler, but turn the AR off before you save.
O, and what version do you have? Were there FR/LG codes on there when you bought it, bcause then it may be too new for these codes to work.

no they werent opn there. i entered them manually. i bought it about two months ago
RocKer

Ok. Then the version you have is correct. The newer version with FR/LG encounter codes ect preloaded is to new for these to work.
