Shrek 2 - Beg for Mercy

We are VERY new (to forums and games) so please bear with us. On the 3rd level (I think it is Far Far Away) - Puss defeats the Toad, then has to jump over a large moat with water. No matter what we do - Puss dies here. We haven't been able to get over this point and have been trying for two weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

This had me going for a while too. Press A to jump, wait until jump is nearly completed then hit A again. This increases the distance of the jump.

Now maybe someone can help me with scroll 4 level 5.

1. Do you have to kill the first guard with the shield? How?

2. How do I get extra height to get on the 'monkey bars' at the top?

3. How do I get over the extra high wall to get out of the hole past the 'monkey bars' (probably the answer to point two will sort this out.

Please let us know. It is slowly driving me insane.

i know, exact same thing is killing me. (scroll 4, level 5) im busy searching the internet for cheats but they keep going on about the mini games you get from collecting the coins. its no good. every time i pick up my game boy, i try to kill that baddie with the shield but it seems absolutely impossble. please help- anybody. also, has anyone figured out what the left key at the back of the game boy is for (puss tips his hat) so far, its been no use but it has to have a point , no?

i too am stuck at this same level , i was told on another forum that you need to hit the skeleton over to next to the wall and jump up on top of him , i have tried this over and over but it does not seem to work , help would be much appreciated , the guard with the shield can not be killed so dont bother tring to kill him ,as regards to the above post , the button on the back makes puss take is hat off and go all cutie faced , if you do this next to a frog he will temporarilly fall in love with you and love harts will appare around him , giving you time to kill him , hope this helps

Done it!

The best way to do it is firstly kill the skeleton in the pit to get the key , (but try to get to him with full health) ,before you kill him knock him all the way over to the far side (the part that you need to jump up to) and try to kill him right beneath the wall

when you have done this collect the key and wait for him to reappear , as soon as he reappears double jump and do the sword diving thing on his head as soon as you have hit him it will bounce you up in the air do a double jump while in the air and you can reach the higher lever

it isn't easy to do and does take a bit of practice
