Not sure of the top of ma head but the PS2 and X-box versions come with instruction books... also the buttons are displayed on one of the many loading screens.

on gamecube y is shift up and x is shift down on ps2 L1/L2 are shift up and R1/R2 are down so u can tell felicia and deanna Ian lol
