When i bought this game there was saved data from this guy named bob..i was looking through his pack and found rare candy...so i gave it to one of my poke guys and found there was more, i kept using it untill they were all level 100, then it dissapeared on me....although iwas happy with my poke guys, it took away my key items..i.e. bike, train pass, rods...its sucks now i dont even play it because of that.

I try not to be serious, and I most usually am not. When you're dealing with kids, however, it's kind of hard not to enforce them with the proper rules that this site asks us to follow. If everyone was layed back, people would have twice the work that needs to be completed. That's why I rather be straight-forward with some of the newer members of this site. It personally does tick me off everytime I log on and see the same questions being asked over and over again. I suppose this is to be expected considering the age of the kids that play these games, mostly, and their lack of internet knowledge. I don't take offense, so don't worry about it.

Also, I do not edit other's posts. If I do not agree with them, I mostly delete them. This can be for several reasons. One being they contain spam, are off topic, repetitive posting, or are breaking the rules.

Oh, and as a side note, you should have also heard its name being called out in the anime. That is, if you watched the Johto episodes.

Ya, to get Latias you must trade from Sapphire or go to Southern Island from using the Mystery Gift with E-Reader to get the Eon Ticket. To get Charizard, you must trade from Firered or Leafgreen. I have a black Charizard. Here is some of it's summary:

yo,Fistface, the pokemon exclusive in ruby are Groudon,Latios,Seedot,Nuzleaf,Shiftry,Mawile,Zangoose,Solrock. But you should get Emerald Version. It has Johto Pokemon like Delibird in it and you get both Groudon and Kyogre. And best of all....Mew!

You are not unbeatable. No one is. YOu must respect the fact that many people have exactly the same Pok'emon as you do. I'm not offending you or anything! I have a matching team bar the fact that I use Shedinja and Mewtwo instead of Mew and Lugia nowadays.

Legendary Pok'emon are strong but can leave trainers unconscious to the fact that they can still be beaten. I'm not saying you are blind but I am saying that more variety can help. Trying new things is always good and exciting.

I've caught every Pokemon,gotten the golden trainer card,devasted the battle tower again and again,and played for over 500 hours on Ruby. I don't think anyone is that devoted :rolledeye ! And... ;) on Leafgreen.. I have Missingno! She(odd,yes?) is level 41. and her attacks are Hidden Power,Secret Power,Recover,and Refresh.

Sadly, it would be hard for me to dominate the Battle Frontier. You can't use Legendaries... :( :D At least I can use my Dark Charizard! That's what I named the Charizard with Blizzard.

HRBEK speaks no word of a lie, these forums are the success to building a better battlin' team/tactics. As anyone knows the first rule of pokemon is no pokemon is strongest, sure mewtwo, rayquaza, ho-oh, lugia have the highest possible stat count in the game, but it means sod all on the field.

so much depends on luck, having a critical hit when you need it can change a hopeless situation into a certain win,

its good to talk :)

Use Pok'emon Maker to create an extra strong Slaking without the Truant ability and use it in the Battle Frontier. Also take a Metagross. With those two I usually take a Milotic or an Articuno in the Battle Tower. Articuno should always have Mind Reader and Sheer Cold!

i never really have a defined team, i take out what i need when i need.

at the moment the only two pokemon that are with me always are deoxys speed and rayquaza for fly lol.


everything else is fluid and subject to change dependant on the situation, im about to make a slaking with extreeme speed " lol i can't resist it :P "
not 100% what else to add onto it, obviosuly earthquake, most likely ghost ball to handle the psychics and ghosts, and i also thought perhaps cross chop,
but im unsure if i want to moves which won't hit ghost :/

had considered aerial ace but its just not really got the power, and i cant see myself putting drill peck on a pokemon without a beak lol, thats just taking it all too far :P

there is no tip, each pokemon has a certain odd of freeing itself froma ball, some species/levels ar emore prone to this, using ultra/great balls makes little difference really. You might try using a timer ball, just stay in the battle for ages, perhaps get a metagross or somethin steel with agility, just keep doing agility say 10 times or more, then try the timer ball, it should be significantly easier :)

reversal is too weak unless at full potential, true though superpower does diminsh after 1 attack, brick break is probably a good choice,

reversal is good but you have to make sure ur pokemon is fast enough to get in that first hit otherwise its just an invitation to suicide.

on the whole not bad, i have a few sugestions :D.

remove focus punch for slaking, slaking is such a powerfull pokemon that NO ONE will allow it to just sit there, the first thing you do is take out a slaking, bare in mind also if ur slaking is unhacked it will not move onthe next turn, on that second turn ur foe will KO you,

on ur houndoom i would tend to remove sludge bomb/howl on the whole houndooms attack stats are pretty lousy, also his defenses are not really high enough to allow a set up with howl.
Aside from all that poison types aren't really worth bothering with on the whole, those that induce toxic like poison tail etc are.

rydon, i would revise swords dance, only for the fact rydon is such a god damn slow pokemon it won't be able to survive two hits against a decent special sweeper, also rydons attack is pretty good as it is, and two of those moves will allow for stab so you should be able to cripple a fair amount of foes if you can get a hit in, i would suggest scary face, at least this way you are likely to come first in the second turn, with swords dance you will have to effectivly endure two hits before you can utilize your pokemon.

Rhydon is not as the normal trainer would have a Water-type in their party. Rhydon would be lucky not to be taken out with a single hit. It's Special-Defence lets it down.

so any suggestions for stronget attacks

in all due respect this is quite a shockingly terrible team, i shall elaborate and show my reasons.


firstly ur Umbreon, you haveall 4 moves as attacks, what doesn't help is the you have also used umbreons terrible special attack stat, iron tail is useless also its accuracy blows, also if what i saw below about ur umbreon having black glasses is for this umbreon that makes no sence as there are no dark type moves here for ur umbreon to gain that measly 10% black glasses give.


blaziken, blaziken is such a great pokemon has a maximum attack of 372 which is by far its best stat, however this is one pokemon i would reccomend keepinbg both attack and special attack stats in, i woudl actually reccomend loosing one of his defenses " something i don't often reccomend"

keep blze kick and loose fire punch/ember, also get rid of slash, replace it with one of blazikens native fighting moves " or tm brickbreak"

rayquaza, you are only using one part of his dual type combo, you need dragon claw or outrage on really " granted they are not effective against anything other than dragon, but at times you will find that none of ur moves will be super effective against an enemy, all you have to fall back on is a strong move, which dragon claw with STAB will be"

i would also get ride of flamethrower, you don't need that and fireblast, fireblast is a good attack but its accuracy can let you down at the most unfortunate of times, also you might want to consider taking a fire type move off altogether, they only serve to protect rayquaza from his compound weakness to ice types, however most ICE types are water/ice and half of those have the thick fat ability which will render any firetype move pretty useless, again a fighting move like brickbreak might be more suitable.

kyogre, i would only swap hydro pump for calm mind, other than that good.


groudon, ahhh!!! thunder!!! remove!!! thunder's normal accuracy of 70% drops to a horrible 50% in "drought/sunnyday" conditions. i wouldn't like to speculate onthe other moves for the sole reason i absolutly hate groudon, only because he has such an awesome attack stat yet he needs to utilize his special attack in order to protect him from super effective pokemon, and his special attack stat is modest at best., i would perhaps suggest some physical attacks.

depends, an erodactyle with adamant nature could take down most of the birds pretty pronto, and remember not only rock type pokemon know rock techniques, take good old rayquaza with ancient power.

not a bad team but it isnt very good either. ur not using ur pkmn's type advantages well: blazaqueen should hav at least one fighting type move and another fire move should replace mirror move and there is really no need for it to hav earthquake for a attack, u should replace rayquaza's water pulse with a flying type (like aireal ace or fly), salamence looks good but u could replace headbutt with a stronger attack (like hyperbeam or flamethrower), i would deffinatly get rid of corpfish's rock smash and add a strong physical attack cuz it has strong attack traits - protect isnt really needed and i'd replace it with either taunt or knock-off (let it evolve too it will become stronger), i'd make sharkpedo primarily a dark type cuz u already hav corpfish for a water type so replace sharkpedo's strength and secret power with crunch and maybe something like bite, theres not much u can do with wywy but replace charm with mirror coat. hope this will improve ur team i'm not trying to be mean just trying to help ;)
