Game Kicked Me Out After First Level (hl2)

Theres something wrong with the CD i got, it loads off the CD itself and when the second level loads the game kicks me off. Does anyone know if theres anything i can do about this. (the guy at the store says i cant take it back) My computer has all the system requirments. :mad:

i'm sorry but if the game is faulty you have the legal right to return it...go back to the shop and DEMAND they replace it

Reinstall.

If it crashes at the same point the whole time its probably a corrupt file.

my bro #1 bought one and cds didnt work at all so they just gave him new cds, same thong with my other bro #2 but he didnt return it he just use the #1 bros sd and hes *****
