Does anyone here know how to make games on a Ti-83 plus? I don't know how. Also, i need to know how to hook up the USB cable to the computer with a ti-84 plus silver and how to get the software for it. thanx.

There are two ways: Basic and Assembly

Basic is the programming language already on the Ti-83+. You goto Programs > New. Type in the name of your program, hit enter, and there you have it. You will use similar programming langauge as True Basic and Dark Basic. [If Then Statements, For loops, etc.]

Assembly is all done ont he computer. It is then compiled, and sent over to your calculator. Assembly is more powerful [despite texas instrument's sayings]. In Assembly langauge, you can do nearly anything. This is also bad, because it can clear your calculator's memory.

Assembly is good, because it can create games such as Phoenix [made in Assembly]. To program Assembly, find tutorials online. There is software you have to download to code in, of course. Once you find a good one, follow the tutorials, and hopefully you have more luck than me.

You input when you are in the code screen ont he calculator. Press program button again, and you get a list of commands. Other math functions can be used, and the best place is from the catalog (on the calc).
