Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance 2

I managed to pick this game up for 14 quid. It is a interesting easy to play game on single player and fun on 2 player. I would recommend it to anyone. Has anyone else played it? I am a level 12 Necromancer

I bet tis drist again....how do you beat the second to last boss he regenrates evrytime i nearly kill him

if i remember, it's not the vampire lord that's been shown in the cut scenes, right?

A lot of patience, a small amount of cussing, and at least a minimum of 3 times of throwing the controller across the room. Magic doesn't really work that well.

I tyed shooting melfs acid arrow at him then running away when he comes near i nearly killed him but then i died

Anything that causes damage over time (Melf's acid arrow, any ranged weapon that does fire or acid damage, etc) works on anyone. Just gotta keep yourself alive at the same time.


Still haven't worked on the game yet. Will in a couple hours. Daughter won't stay asleep long enough for me to try (I work nights, so I'm up anyway).


*EDIT* Ok. The white clothed vampire is the final boss of the game. You fight him twice, once in the castle and then once again at the top of the Onyx Tower, once it appears in Balder's Gate. I found a really cheap way to beat him, so here goes (I used cheat codes, so bare with me if it doesn't work too well for you the first few times). I also have the US version, so it might be different from the UK one.

Talking to the old man in Balder's gate (the one that helps you learn about the necromancer's past and gain expierence), he will give you a quest to go talk to, and defeat, your previous mentor in a clock tower. After you defeat him, go talk to the old man again, and you will be granted access to your shadow abilities. One of them is called Summon Shadow, and one is called Shadow Spray. Remember these names. As soon as you level up again and have some points to spare, get at least 2 ranks in each one of these (3 prefered if you can manage it).

When you start fighting the vampire (either time) summon your shadow creature and let it go fight. Have the necromancer stand back and cast Shadow Spray at the enemy. The best thing about this attack is that it automatically goes to the nearest enemy, hitting every time (think of it as a dark, and much more powerful, magic missle attack). Keep letting loose with your spray, resummoning your creature when it is defeated, and using lots of rejuvenation potions. This tactic also works against the vampires' right hand man, Xanghast.

i got one im not a necromancer and i kicked the first vampire easy and beat the white cloaked one onces but ontop of the onxy tower i cant seem to beat him ill get him to like 3/4 than he will make sum stupid black copy of himself and all his health comes back, its really stupid im the dwarf if u have any idea how to beat him plzz says so.
